Hi all! I'm in my second week of JC. I lost 5 lbs the first week, but I weighed in for the second week and only lost 0.5 lbs this week. I have been really good with all hte JC food and never cheat! I'm just a little depressed - I was sooo excited the 1st week but now I'm losing all of my excitement. I know 2 lbs a week is normal, and I've lost a total of 5.5 lbs in 2 weeks, so I'm on track. I guess I just thought if I was really good with the program, I would lose more than 2 lbs a week. Anyoneelse feel this way??
thanks!

hi hcr
don't be discouraged. I don't like to scale, I don't think it's accurate. I asked a poll before : Lbs or inches off? Everyone basically likes inches off.
First of all, my scale and the center scale is OFF by 2-3 lbs (at the center I am 2-3lbs heavier!) And I would weigh myself(with the same outfit) just before I leave the house.
I just started week 3. I kept stepping on the scale my first week. I decided to use my scale as my official scale! My weight changes through out the day, sometime by 2 lb, sometime by 1. So I pick a set time (mornings is best, lightest) and measure at the same time everyday! that would be the beast gauge on your progress.
and b/c we measure in lbs not kg. What you wear to the weigh in may add 2 lbs. If you have drank water you may have added .5 lbs.
If you haven't gone to the bathroom in a while! My WI session so far have been on different times of the day. I had no breakfast the 1st one, and ate til lunch on my 2nd.
SO I really hate to use the scale. I think tape measure is a better gauge. I use a pair of jeans I know is too small right now ;p And now I am plently surprised, still got more to lose, but at least I can almost ZIP it up!
Good luck

HCR hang in there. Same thing happened to me. First week was 4.8 lb. Second week was .4 lb. and the THIRD week was 2.8 lb. Just have to let your body "catch up" so to speak with the big weight loss the first week. It will all average out in the end. Just keep doing what you're doing.

My first weigh in was a loss of 6 pounds. I was pretty shocked, but excited. I go for my 2nd appointment on Sunday and I am sure it won't be as much. Any loss is a victory!!
You still did great!! Keep up the good work!

Thanks for all the support! I'm doing Jenny Direct, so I weigh myself at home in the mornings before I eat breakfast. I'm sure I still have daily fluctuations from what I ate the night before. My counselor also suggested that I buy a tape measurer and also track inches, which I think I'll do. I'm trying to stay positive, I'm sure next week will be better !!
thanks

Hello, the exact same thing happened to me, first week five lbs. second week .5. I heard from several people this is normal while your body adjusts. Take a breath and wait till next week, you will do fine. A loss is still a loss and you did not gain. Keep working the program, I have lost over 16 lbs. in five weeks. It does work.
