Had my first weigh in yesterday...I was so excited all day long to go get weighed. I weighed myself at home in the morning and I was down 6, but I knew that once I go to JC in the evening it would be less, not to mention we weigh in with clothes on, but nonetheless, I lost 4 pounds!! Can't wait until next week...hopefully I'll loose something close to that.

I screwed up my ticker..lol..here it is..

Congratulations! I, too, had my first weigh-in yesterday. I lost 6.9 pounds! I was ecstatic to get out of the 200's after the first week. That was a HUGE deal for me! My goal is 150 pounds -- 48.1 to go! Right now my commitment level is high -- I'm praying the motivation I feel today continues through maintenance.
Well, I've tried twice to include my ticker, but I only see the url info -- any tips on how to make it appear?

Congratulations!!
My first weigh-in is tomorrow. I hope to see a number like that. Made myself put the scale away so I wouldn't be disappointed midweek.

I also can't wait to get out of the 200's...I haven't been out of the 200's in a long time..can't even believe that I'm here to begin with. Once I'm out of the 200's I'm out for good...I have a different mindset now..I'm all about being active, so hopefully this weight will be gone for good.

I thought I was more computer literate, but I can't get the ticker image to appear. What am I doing wrong?

Let's see if this ticker thing works this time. It's such a great visual.

cONGRATS all!
I had my first weigh-in today. I was down 5.6lbs.! I guess the first week is supposed to be big, due to water loss. What is the second week typical results?

My first weigh in was yesterday, too. At home, I showed 5 pounds lost -- and at the Center it was 3. I'm hoping for much better next week because I started on Friday -- but Wed is a better day for me to go in, so I was a couple days short of a week.

Where do you set up the ticker? Is everyone drinking a ton of water?????

Congrats to all and an extra shout out to those who got out of the 200s during the first week. I know that's a biiiiig deal!
I lost 7.2 lbs my first week but this was my trick. I went out for a "baaaad" breakfast before joining JC. But when I went to weigh the next week I went in early before eating anything. Ha. That really helped with pounds lost. I always go in before eating a thing no matter what time it is. That won't work for regular jobs. I transcribe from home.
Anyway, I weighed once without clothes (home scale) and then I put my clothes on and weighed again. I couldn't believe the difference. I think it was a little over 2 lbs and that was without shoes. UUUGHHHH! My mom told me that WW takes off 2 lbs for clothes but I tried WW and didn't lose anything as it was too complicated for me. Ha.
Anyway, don't worry too much about the actual number just the pounds lost and you can secretly take off 2 lbs in your head...Even though your counselor won't.
