Hi Everyone,
It's only my 5th day and I couldn't handle it anymore. This morning I woke feeling so weak, tired, headache, starving, I couldn't take it anymore, ahhhh! I went to Costco to pick up some diaper and gave in to a chicken bake & sprite. Dinner time was worse than lunch, I'm too embarass to say what I ate. I failed miserably and I am so discouraged about continuing. I felt so so sick, so weak that I can't even work, I would lie in bed trying to sleep off the headache. I also have doubts like how can I stick with a program that makes me feel this way? It's understandable that this is the beginning but, do you ever feel normal long term? I'm sorry everyone don't mean to be so negative, just feel frustrated that I failed.

Hi.. I cannot tell you how many times this has happened to me...The best advice I can give you is, MOVE ON!!!! Dwelling on it will make you feel worse which will make you eat more.. Its progess not perfection.. LOLnull

Hi Rowena,
DON'T GIVE UP.. everyone falls off the wagon once in a while but i honestly have to say talk to your consultant. I think your calories is too low. You probably should be on a higher calorie intake for now. I am on 1,500 calories and basically never had that problem. If i get hungry i grab the carrots, celery or cucumbers and put some vinegar on them.
Honestly if you have symptoms like that then your calorie count is not enough for you at this time. Mine is 1,500 and when i am at 240 lbs, i go to 1,200. I have never had any problems with hunger. You don't want to give up because you will be miserable if you do. Just take it as a learning experience, talk to your consultant, see where you went wrong, tell her your symptoms and i think she should up your calorie count, if you are at 1,200 then she should put you at 1,500 for now until you get used to the diet, then drop you to 1,200 again.
I have been on for a little over a week and i feel better than ever and in order for me not to feel jipped, when i have supper if it doesn't ask for a salad, i cut up a cucumber put vineger over it and then pepper, that will help fill me up if i feel the meal is not enough and it works!!!
Please don't give up, this diet is awesome and it works, i just know there is something wrong that needs to be addressed. That's what your consultant is there for and they have a 24 hour hotline if you can't wait to talk to your consultant.
this morning i thought breakfast was a joke LOL a strawberry bar and milk whopeeeeeee LOL but i am grabbing my carrots and celery if i am hungry but you know what, my stomach seems content with what i just ate.
Chin up. You have made the best decision to start this and the people on this site are just wonderful and very very supportive!!! the one thing my consultant told me, if you cheat DON'T throw in the towel and say its over. This is a learning process as well.
One other thing i am learning if you ate quite a bit, then take yourself for a walk or keep yourself busy to burn it off. I am learning calorie intake really should go by activity level...
take care and keep that chin up!!!! you are only human so dont be embarrassed

Hey, you know what the first week I was pretty fine I just ate extra vegetables when I was hungry. The second week though, I was hungry and I knew I needed a little more calories to keep me going. So, I added a little (1/2 oz) of low fat cheese to my salad, served myself double helpings of veggies with dinner, and ate a few low fat crackers throughout the day if I got a headache, I still lost weight that week (and I cheated one night and had cake) Just ask your consultant... maybe your meals lack the amount of protein you need....
