Hi Everybody!
I am happy to say I joined JC on Saturday and started today. I weigh 170 and my goal is to lose 40 pounds so I can get back into my skiny clothes!
Anyway, I have a question. I am trying to save some money, I know it can get quite pricey with meals, so I am wondering...are there any substitutions I can get at the grocery store to replace toffee bites, sourdough bites, peanut butter bars, etc (you know, the "snacky" stuff)... I know that I can replace the JC cereal with a regular cereal with equivalent calories, but I was just wondering about everything else. (I still plan on purchasing the Jenny Craig lunches, dinners and desserts). I am on the planned menu, and I know they are trying to make a commision when selling food, but is it possible to substitute some stuff?
Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

What I bought are Snyders sourdough pretzels in the box and eat one of those at nite, I match the calories from one of the JC desserts and that has seemed to work, also the new Sundae Toppers are really good too and only 100 calories for a dessert. Just a suggestion

Get a purse card from your consultant and calculate the exchanges, not just the calories when you are making substitutions.
