Ok, I'm ready to start tomorrow. Got all my food, planned exercise goals, getting over the humps, etc. Anyone else starting tomorrow who would like to be a part of this new thread? I'm ready to change my old habits and it would be great to share it with anyone who starts on the same day. If you are starting tomorrow, best of luck!

I'm starting tomorrow, too I'm very excited about it and am looking forward to getting healthier! My problem in the past is just not eating all day and eating a big dinner - so it might actually be hard for me to eat all this food throughout the day tomorrow! Anyway, good luck

Count me in tomorrow as well! I've got most of my food organized, and the treadmill is ready to be fired up. I didn't have a weight problem until two years ago. I had a hysterectomy then back surgery. I've become a slug, addicted to Dr. Peppers. I'm really excited to finally do something about it. Good luck to everyone. Now if I can just figure out how to post on this board...LOL

Hello fellow new members,
I started 01/02/05. I did very well, other than I'm just not used to eating so much food.....go figure. I also walked 5 miles! I feel motivated and excited about my new journey. It's been a long time coming. I'm tired of putting it off. I need to do this for my children as well as myself. They are only young once!!! Good luck to all. I look forward to tracking everyone's progress.
12/31/04-216lbs yuck. I didn't even weigh that delivering either of my children.
01/02/05-start date! what can I say. I wanted to wait until after new years!

have a great day!

Hey you guys,
I started the food on the 31st but am not weighing in until Jan. 10th! The first three days are the hardest. I was eating TWO really large meals a day before this because of work, etc. I am already feeling better and am ready to do this. I haven't really told anyone I know that I'm doing this yet, I want to make sure I actually lose weight!

Well so far the food has been very yummy! And I'm eating so many more vegetables than I used to...it's nice to start eating healthy again!
I have a major sweet tooth, so I'm looking forward to the chocolate cake tonight!
How's everyone else's day??

So far, so good. The french toast for breakfast was do die for! My son wanted a bite and now he wants it everyday for breakfast! I ate the yogurt, but it's after 3 and I'm still not hungry enough to eat lunch. At this rate, I'll be up until midnight getting all the food in. Maybe I'm just really excited, or maybe it's because I'm not used to eating anything until late in the afternoon. Lots of bad habits I need to change, but one day at a time. How is everyone else doing?

Hi, Iam starting today 1/3/2005. I tried starting last week but I messed up too many times. So here I go again. I really need some help in motivation any ideas for me?

Started today also. I never had a weight problem until 1)I quit smoking and 2)menopause. I am 54 and have packed on 30 lbs since 2001 when I quit smoking. I weigh 177 now and want to get back to 140.
I feel better already because I feel in control again. I went to Jenny at noon and then over to Curves.
Hoping we all acheive our goals.

So far so good. The food is REALLY good. I loved the french toast and the chicken sandwich. I have eaten extra vegetable servings today. I have the nervous munchies, (I'm just used to more calories). Can't wait until I adjust in a few days, but I must say again, the food is surprisingly tasty!

ChicagoJackie I know what you mean about not telling anyone. I'm keeping it pretty hush hush except for a few people. I just don't want people to think that here I go again trying another "diet". Good Luck!

Well, got all my food today and am starting in the morning. Still reeling a little from the cost. I sure hope I stick to it and make it worth it. I feel excited though. No thinking, or cooking!!!
Start Date 1/3/05
Weight at start 197.6 (YIKES!!!)

KellyTij - the cost is a little overwhelming at first (especially today since I got that VISA bill today!) However, what I've noticed over the last couple of weeks is that I have more cash in my pocket. I'm saving a lot of money by not running into every drive thru and grocery store. OK, saving the money I spent on JC!!! But I truly think I'm breaking even in the long run -- and feeling great doing it! You're going to do great!

I suppose you are right. I normally eat out everyday at lunch and spend a small fortune doing that. I will look at it as an investment in my body. JC is way cheaper than lipo or a tummy tuck. =)

Just finished my first day with JC. As a former Weight Watcher I'd say the JC food was very good and the day went good. My only hitch is the veggies. I don't like them that much. But I will try. So I'm ready to roll. I need to lose this weight and am damned determine to. The support on this board sure helps!

So far, so good! I have a busy career, so this pre-planned/packaged food thing is all-right by me. I think I can live with this for sure. Any comments? How has the food been treating you all?
I've felt a bit hungry in the afternoon, but I think I will adjust. Just need to bring more free options to work.

The food is good and I am not hungry. I had a meeting last night which is held at a restaurant and I usually have a couple of beers...instead I had decafe coffee!
My family in incredibly supportive which is very helpful.
OH...probably just water but I have lost 3 1/2 lbs since Monday morning.
Make a decision to have a great day!

Hi everyone! I started January 3rd also. I just got the chance to come on and check out the website. I am glad I am not alone. I am surprised at how good the food is and how I am not starving! We're on our way! Good luck everyone!
