If i don't exercise for a week,do you think it will effect my weight loss much?
I just had a shot in the heel of my foot and the doctor gave me orders....NO EXERCISE FOR A WEEK TO LET YOUR FOOT HEAL.Then i need a shot in the other foot in a month.Im upset because i think i won't loose any weight.

It might affect your weight loss, it might not -- it's impossible to predict. Sometimes when we break our pattern of eating and exercising, there is no change that week, but perhaps it catches up with us the following week.
In this case, you are under doctor's orders, so it's an issue that's beyond your control. I bet you WILL still lose, just perhaps maybe not quite as much. When we are ill or injured, other things besides optimal weight loss have to take precedence. So just try to relax and not let it upset you.

Honestly, I don't think it will affect you THAT much. You can still lose weight if you don't exercise, but in the long run it would just take longer. And since it's only a week, it shouldn't make that much of an impact, imo.
Here are a few things ideas that might help if you are feeling you need to do something during your recoup time: You can sit on the couch and alternate lifting a heavy book or something about 5 lbs. in your hands. You can lay on the floor, put your bad foot up on the couch and suck in your abdomen while breathing and hold it for 10 seconds, doing as many intervals as you can manage. You can sit with your back straight in a chair with your foot up on another chair and simply twist your waste from side to side (even better holding a heavy object) or slowly twisting your waste from side to side and holding it as you get to each side for a few seconds.
Wishing you a speedy recovery!!!
