Went to my local center last night, fully intending on trying the 20 lbs. for $20 program and getting what little food I could for a couple days until payday. Guess what--my hubby was sitting in the waiting room! He said he wanted to support me. Not only that, after hearing what the consultant had to say and asking questions about the program, he signed me up for Platinum and got me two weeks' worth of food to start! I'm doing the Happy Dance! I'm "officially" beginning with my breakfast in just a few minutes. I totally have high hopes for this program--I'm just so sick of being heavy. It's the worst in the summer--I can really feel this 90 degree midwest heat and humidity... However long it takes, I won't lose sight of my goal this time. I'm glad to be on board with JC!!!

YIPEE!! Do the happy dance!!! You go girl!!! I'm sure you'll really do well as you're clearly READY to make some changes! I find it's a really good program. To have your hubby's support is really awesome!
I live in the midwest also...it can be awfully sticky and humid. You'll be so happy when you shed unwanted lbs.

YEA - GO PACKERS. I'm from the Twin Cities (Minnesota), but I lived in Milwaukee for several years and absolutely loved it there (and love the Pack). You're right about the Cheese, Lynda!

Awwww. What a great guy. My hubby is too. He's been eating the Jenny food with me. I brought him home his own menu last week. (I was concerned he was eating too little since guys need more calories.)
I'm in western Wisconsin. I go to the Maplewood, MN center.
JC is working for me. Down 16 in the first month. Don't think of it as a diet, think of it as changing your habits for a lifetime. It doesn't mean you won't ever eat real pizza again, or chips. It just means you'll learn to do these things in moderation and balance your diet. You'll learn to love new foods. (Look for the thread with the free veggie soup in the General section.)
We can do this and we will!
