Hi all new/recent moms! I had my second son in July. We are done having kids so I really want to get back in great shape. I am starting JC this monday. Yes, I am starting during the holiday season so I don't go crazy over Christmas. I really want to get down to 130 (I am at 183 now).
My 4 month old is finally sleeping 12 hours all night so I can get a lot of workouts in now. Anyway, so any of you have success stories and motivation tips for me? I have had 2 c-sections and want to gst back into the best shape possible!!! Thx!

Well don't have too much to post just yet, but I am working off the baby weight from my third child. I gained at least 15 lbs with each child and kept it on so it was time to do something about it! I too started just a couple weeks before Thanksgiving and I look at it this way had I waited until after the holidays I might have gained another 10 or more pounds now I'll be down probably 15 so it's almost like a 25-30 lbs weight loss. Good for you for making the first step and joining during the holidays. I am still nursing which allows for some extra calories so the plan has been quite easy for me so far. I'm just so busy with three kids that having the menu and microwave friendly meals makes it so easy. This is the first plan that has ever worked for me and I read a lot of the posts and it seems it's working well for almost everybody. I can't comment much on work outs as I have physical challenges that limit me from working out much at all so maybe someone else can give you advise that way. Enjoy your baby and remember you are on a great road to better health for you and your family. You can do this!

I'm a returning client and I'm trying to lose my baby weight too. My son is 13 months old and boy is it harder this time!! Back in 2002 I was 250 and lost 100 pounds. When I got pregnant I went from 150 to 225 So I gained 75 pounds!!It's a year later and I'm at 215 so I haven't made much progress. I'm restarting on 12/29 and I figure even if I lost a pound a week, by next Xmas I should be close to where I was!!

Hi I am a new mom. I have a 7 1/2 month old daughter. I was doing very well in the beginning and then went off track. I went to JC and immediately lost 18 pounds. Then decided to take a break, feeling overwhelmed with motherhood and returning to work. Proceeded to eat everything not nailed down. Went back to JC last week for the second go round. I have done JC before, successfully losing 50 lbs. Seems harder this time. Was so ready to start exercise program, then whole family - me, my husband and daughter caught colds. Can't wait for cold to be over and start to work out. Feeling very sluggish. Need exercise to help pick me up. Could use any support out there. This is going to be a long road. But, I am not complaining. Just want to get started and keep going. Thanks for listening - BabyWeight2006.

My baby is also 13 months old. He is still nursing so the weight seems to be coming off well so far. I started back in November. Just this week I finally started exercising and bought a pedometer too. I feel better but can't wait to get into a more routine schedule. It's great to find others in the same place as I am. Good luck and 13 month old kids are great and they keep you very busy.

I find that my son (now 18 months) keeps me way too busy! I recently went back to school and am working on finding a new job part time but right now I just go to school and stay home with him. I lack the motivation to eat right and exercise completely. I just feel so wore out all the time. Before I got pregnant, I had lost almost 90 lbs and felt great. I just cant get back to that place.
Hello ladies, Im a new comer here, and badley in need of some advise.. I had my 3rd baby August 14th and need to lose 25lbs , I seem to struggle with my weight and need some great input on what to do.. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I noticed you lost 100 pounds the first time arouned. How long did it take? Did you find it difficult. I had my 2nd child almost 2 years ago and need to get about 25 off from that plus another 25 that I'm responsible for. I find it difficult in the house with 2 kids (2&3) and a husband.
