Is it ok if I eat a dinner at lunch time? It seems like the calories are pretty much the same for some of the lunches and dinners. I'm getting bored with the lunches but still love the dinners. Help!

I asked my JCC if it was ok to do this and she said it was. Sure hope so because I am. I like to eat a bigger lunch and smaller dinner.

Hi, I have always eaten my meals in reverse...I was told it was ok to switch the lunch for dinner...It all adds up in calories in and calories out...
Thanks, one-of-a-kind

There are specific dinners that can be eaten as lunches and vice versa but ask your JCC which ones they are. Not all are interchangeable. I think the dietician may have answerd this in the past but i am not sure.

I do eat dinner for lunch, but then I also eat a lunch for dinner. I was told that it's okay to swap the two meals option, but never asked about eating 2 dinners a day.

Switching your entrees around will also help you stay fuller in the afternoon. Those who work and have to pack a lunch may also have it easier to take the dinner entrees because many are microwavable. I am not usually craving a salad for lunch, so it works great for me to eat it at night with my lunch entree.

I think that the lunches with a salad are more filling than the dinners so I frequently swap the two, especially because it's hard to watch my family eating their largest meal while I have something small and no salad in the evening.

It's ok to switch lunch for diner and dinner for lunch, but not to do 2 dinners a day. There is alot more nutritional values than just the calories and they dont all switch.
