I have been doing JC since May and have lost almost 40 pounds. I like the food but it costs a lot of money! Any suggestions on how to cut down the costs? In addition I have trouble exercising and staying motivated. Any types or suggestions would really be appriecated.
Thanks

Oops, I'm not sure whether I should or shouldn't reply here because I am female, but I wanted to suggest that you find a buddy that's also doing the plan that you can email, exercise with, and challenge each other each week. I have found that not only going into the Centre helps, but having daily outside encouragement and motivation from a fellow J.C.'er really kicks things into gear. You are then not just accountable to yourself, but to someonelse too.
Congratulations on your success thus far! How far do you want to go? If you would like an email friend, I would be happy to talk with you too. Best of luck, C.M.

Hello
I can agree wit mint. Its awsome you lost 40 lbs but what motivation do you need if you lost 40 lbs that's motivation enough. Dont you feel, look , and everything in between better. I am a male I started in november I at lost one time 128 lbs and yes I fell into the trap that I set. If I would have contiued on my goal I would have lost 200+ buy now but you know that was my choice I am still happy with what I lost I did gain a few but I am back. Yes the cost of Jc is high but everyone just looks at the cost of food arent you also paying for the personal attention the web site and everything else JC does to make it better for there client. Dont get down if you do you'll go backwards trust me. I hope all goes well and stay focused have a great week. smiley

Good for you! I am also a man. I've lost 85 pounds so far. I pay about $70/week for JC food. I don't think that is much different from what I would spend off the program buying my own food at the market. I don't use their vitamins or salad dressing which does save a little money. What is costing me money is having to buy new clothes!

Not quite at that point yet! I'm still wearing 2X shirts, for example. I had to go to Rochester yesterday to buy a new Blazer (size 52L)for an upcoming wedding. I paid $400. for it. I am really looking forward to buying clothes in 'regular' stores!
I did lose 4+ pounds this week which is good news!

Well, I don't wish doom on anyone. But admittedly, they did kind of do this to themselves. They've legislated themselves into a noose which for wakeboard tower they can't get out of. Many of their laws on the books prevents the legislature from cutting their budgets or saving some money. So either they balance their budget by breaking their own laws, or they go bankrupt.

I think it is a warning for other states though. hot air ballooning BrisbaneThat you can't legislate every perk for every person. Give yourself a little wiggle room. And save for a rainy day.
