Four level 70's, yeah, you could say I'm a bit into WOW. My raiding main is a warlock. Raiding keeps me from eating lol

I play wow from time to time. I played a bit last year (had 1 60 priest) and then I took a 8 month hiatus. When I started again (in december) I decided to actually take things slow as far as leveling is concerned and started leveling up 3 toons at a time. So I have a 51 lock, mage and a 52 priest. What server do you guys play on?

I play once in a while with a level 13 mage and a lever 23 warlock I have in Llane. My husband...now he is a wow freak! He has 2 level 70s and is always raiding. Also in Llane

I played EQ for many years (4). I quit just before the raise of the cap to 70. I also was in the same guild (mono). Just followed them to a different game.

I love it! Who would of thought we would be talking about WOW on the JC website! I have several toons, all in the 40s...I like the variety. Play a lot of bg's and so don't level as quickly...lol I got to say that I am used to eating cheezits while playing and I kind of miss my crackers

I played EQ, got my wizzie up to 65, then they raised the level cap and I bailed. I won't get WoW, because I was waaaaaaay too addicted to EQ, and don't want to do that to myself again!

Totally understandable. I was also hesatant into getting into Wow. I certainly have a healther relationship with it now. As odvious as this sounds, when real life wants you to go and interact - do it. It doesnt matter if your in a dungeon/instance/raiding or for whatever reason. Unfortunatly I lost out on a few years worth of interacting with the real world, due to my addiction with EQ and being in a raiding guild (one of the top ones on the server). Now that I date, and am more active in my friends lives - I dont have oodles of time to play.

Bikki-
Which server and guild? I was on Lanys T'Vyl. I decided to quit EQ when I blew my dad off for lunch so that a friend could power level my cleric in Dulak. I knew that I'd crossed a line when EQ took priority over real life.
Now I just play Civilization IV...at least I can leave the keyboard without a frenzy of "AFK bio BRB"! =-)

I was on the Torv server in Monolith. Name of my toon was Nabikki. I have tried different games - I was into the Sims online for a bit. Met a few really good friends I still chat with from time to time. Also got into guild wars for a bit and DII. None of those were the extent of EQ though. However I will say that Sims did suck up more time then I am proud of. Wow on the other hand was a place to escape the bad relationship I was in. (I went from 1-60 in about 2 months)I basically exchanged one unhealthy thing for another. This time around Ive found that if Im happy in other aspects of my life, that the need/addiction isnt the same.

lvl 60 NE Druid on Garona here. Or shall I say was on Garona. I stopped playing about a year ago due to raiding being more important than real life I still talk to a few people from my guild and I know the guild is no longer together. Everyone got burned out by raiding 7 days a week. Never thought I would see the day that JC and WOW are together LOL Makes me miss it

Curious to know, is this the Hecate that was GM of Ostralyan Pain that used to be on Spinebreaker and then moved to Barthilus?

Amazing! This is great. I am also a WoW'er! I play multiple servers, but spend most of my time on Terenas with my 62 nightelf hunter, a 44 lock, a 25 draenai warrior, and several others. My other server I occassionally inhabit is Silverhand. I find it a nice diversion because as any gamer knows... you can TOTALLY lose track of time when you're gaming. Food? Huh? I forgot to eat! Seriously, I was questing when I realized it was sneaking up on 9 pm and I hadn't nuked my dinner yet! (In my defense, we DID have a very late lunch).
My origins in gaming started with me being a system operator at a gamesite. (I was one of those people that "booted" the bad guys). I played all the games they provided us (Monopoly, Red Alert, Command & Conquer, etc)... before I found the game Ultima Online. Like WoW, it's a fantasy/role playing game. I played that FOREVER before my son brought me into this century by giving me World of Warcraft for Mother's Day a couple years ago! We occassionally play together (he's away at college and is a phenominal player).
Anyone else on the Teranas server? Silverhand? Or my only horde alt is Cowbelly (the Tauren) on Aegwyn.
Glad to hear there are more of us gamers here!

This is too funny to see this on here. I have no idea about a lot of what you said up there, but my husband and son play WOW all the time. Hubby has been playing for awhile, and he has gotten my 10 year old completely into it. I don't play, but sometimes I feel it's taken over our household!

VERY surprised to see this thread! I have a70 Shadow Priest on Light Bringer also a 22 Hunter. Both of them are alliance. I created a couple horde's but got to like level 15 and litterally ran out of quest and areas that I could go without getting pwned.
