I did not like the applesauce. I would rather have an apple but hate to waste the money. I had the salad over baby spinach. It's was great!

I had the turkey cranberry salad kit for the first time today. It was okay, but I was surprised to see that it has 52 carb grams. That's alot. I hope JC continues to offer the chicken salad kit, which has only 33 carb grams. I'm a diabetic and like to keep my carb grams under 200 per day.

I love the Chicken Salad Kit. I eat it on a salad with the crackers on the side. Or if I am on the go, I eat it right from the can with the crackers. I rarely eat the apple sauce with the meal because my salad is usually big enough to fill me up. So I save the applesauce for an evening snack. I like to microwave the applesauce, add plenty of splenda and cinnamin and sometimes top with a dab of frozen ff cool whip. It's like a crustless apple pie. Plus it was already factored into my daily food, so it's like a free snack. Try it.

The first few times I tried the chicken/tuna kits I didn't like them. As I go along in the program, I am volumizing my meals a lot more.

I take a container of slivered/sliced lettuce to work with me and I put both the lettuce and lunch kit in the refrigerator. I mix the chicken or tuna with the lettuce, slice up the tomato on top of the salad, and crumble the crackers as 'croutons'.
