Hello Everyone,
Just wondering if anyone has a favorite Jenny Craig meal that fills them up a little more than the others. For me it is the Fajitas! I just always try to find JC Meals that are the most filling. Thanks for your imput!

For me its mesquite chicken -- yum!

Hi, I have a couple but I do volumize them, so I'll share what I do.
I take the chicken fettucini and put it over a cup of brocolli, some sauteed onions and mushrooms. It makes so much that I have a hard time eating it all.
I saute a half of a zuchini with onions and eat it along with the salisbury steak dinner. It's so fiiling and yummy and my DH always says how good it looks and smells.
I do the same thing with beef lomein. I add either sauteed zuchini and onions or cooked brocolli and it makes double the portion. Actually I had that for lunch today and struggled to finish it all.
Well, I hope this helps. I think I'm actually addicted to these foods because I really love them and could alternate the fetuccini and salisbury steak meals every other day.
I wish everyone here, continued success.
K.

I think the turkey is the most filling!

Filling for lunch is the chili con carne - I add a half a can of rotel, a small can of mushrooms, a slice of chopped onion and a sprinkle of FF cheese. It really is almost too much to eat and I sometimes split it into two portions and eat it throughout the day. That day is also cheese curls day, so sometimes I sprinkle those on top...YUMMY!!!

Penne Pasta. It's filling as is.

For me, it's a three-way tie:
Beef sirloin and rice bowl - Finely chop all the ingredients and toss together with about a half cup (or to taste or consistency), season as desired, and fill two hollowed-out red or green peppers. Bake at 350 for about 45-55 minutes. I almost can't finish this, and I've added nothing but free veggies.
Penne pasta - The volumizing ideas are endless, but I like to saute onions, peppers, mushrooms, and garlic, then toss with pasta, topping with chopped fresh tomatoes and/or one-quarter cup of LF or FF cheese. Delicious!
Chicken fettucine - My FAVORITE! Saute onions, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, and garlic, then toss with fettucine. Oh, so good. (I got this idea from another message thread, actually.)

The turkey dinner, and french toast!

For me it's the turkey chili when I make a taco salad out of it. Lots of lettuce and tomatoes and it really fills you up.
I also find the lasagna to be filling just as it is.

mesquite chicken, just as it is.

Without volumizing it would be the turkey.
I also volumizing the Lomein, Chicken Fettuccine, Penne Pasta & Fajitas like the ideas listed above. Extra veggies steamed or sautéed in Pam are our friends!
Today with my spinach tortellini, I added sautéed eggplant, sliced mushrooms, sweet cherry tomatoes & baby spinach. I added some onion powder and bit of water to thin out the sauce. It was very good & very filling.

Chicken Fettuccine - While mw'ing the entree, sautee onions, peppers, garlic, broccoli and carrots with a little Pam spray. Towards the end, add teriyaki sauce to the veggies. Pour veggies over chicken fettuccine and it is delightful.
Chicken Sandwich - Microwave chicken patty for 90 seconds, then brown in skillet with Pam spray. While browning chicken, steam your favorite veggie(s). I like broccoli with this. At the last minute, spritz buns with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray and sprinkle with garic. Toast until crunchy in broiler and eat them on the side with your chicken and veggies.
BBQ Sirloin Entree - Microwave according to package. Chop up and toss in some tomato sauce after cooking it. Fill one large green pepper with entree, or you could do two halves. Bake in oven until pepper is tender.

I love the fettucine with chopped brocolli. Delicous! I don't like the turkey because of the almonds. I hate nuts! Yes, I pick them off but the other day I bit into one and that was the end of that. EEK!! I thought I was going to lose it right there.

The mesquite chicken. When I first took it out of the oven, I thought the tray looked awfully small. I put it on a salad plate and ended up leaving 3 bites. I was full!

I had the meatloaf tonight. Last time I did not like the potatoes so I took the potatoes out and sauteed them with onions and mushrooms. Deelish!

I love the fettucini with the onions, mushrooms, garlic and artichokes (that was my post by the way - isn't it GREAT ) and I've always been full.
I also like the lasagna with mushrooms and onions.
In a nutshell, the pasta does it for me

I mix in about a cup of string beans to the Chicken Fettichinni & it is really filling and quite lovely.
Meatloaf by itsself I would say is the most filling dinner.
The breakfast scramble is the most filling breakfast I've found.
marinara
I've got to agree with the breakfast scramble - especially with a little salsa to kick it up a notch

what does everyone saute their veggies in and what do you use to put on top as a sauce or seasoning?
calm.determination
just a little cooking spray does the trick for sautee veggies. toppings I don't know that much about-- usually I just mix the veggies in with what I am eating & that tends to work for me.

Hawaii, Love the name! I saute my veggies in pam or steam them. Seasonings vary depending on my mood. I use one or two of the following: salt, cracked black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon peper, light creole seasoning in my current favorite,FF butter spray or olive oil spray.

I have to agree with the original poster, the chicken fajitas are the most filling for me. I usually sautee some chopped onion and green pepper in some PAM and then add the contents of the JC fajitas. When it's all browned up I serve it in the tortillas with a little taco sauce and FF sour cream. Yummy and oh-so filling!

I agree -- probably due to the mashed potatoes and stuffing. Good ole comfort food! smile.gif

I think the most filling foods are the turkey dinners, mesquite chicken and the fruit & granola(with a few added raisens).

For me there are two:

The fajitas, volumized up with a lot of extra veggies, and then made into quessadias (sp?). I use just a titch of shredded cheese (or one cheese string) on each side to make the tortillas stick. Then I fry it up with Pam on the outside to make it crisp. Spread with FF sourcream and salsa. Delicious and filling - especially because you wind up with your quessadia cut into four pieces plus a bowl food of extra food.

The other one is the potstickers. I make this into a soup. I use 3/4 cup chicken broth and 3/4 cup water and cook up some thinly slice carrots, mushrooms, broccoli (or whatever) and then once that's done I add the JC meal that's been heated. Makes an absolutely HUGE bowl of soup and it's really really good.

I just ate the cashew chicken and mixed frozen asian vegetables with it as suggested by my consultant. I think that meal was filling.
