Hi Everyone,
(maybe you already know this, but....)
I just found borden fat free cheese that is 30 calories a slice, and my consultant said I can have that as part of my plan (it's like a limited free food, sort of like ff cream cheese). The borden brand melts like a dream and you can't tell the difference between it and regular american cheese slices.
OK, ready for this...
Yum a HUGE free dessert. 7 Eleven convenience stores have Crystal Light Slurpees, really yummy tropical flavors (I think Mango orange is one flavor, but they are ALL good). You can get the HUGE cup and it takes almost 45 minutes to finish it, it's like a huge dessert that lasts forever, so whenever you want a treat, $1.39 for a fun free food.
I'm kind of new to JC, so maybe you already know this stuff, but I am really enjoying my these two "finds".

I found fat free kraft shredded cheese, I think it has about 40 calories for 1/4 cup.
And also I found Fat Free Redi-Whip, 5 calories for 2 tablespoons. So much better than cool whip.
both of these at Walmart

Hi,
Thanks for the advice on the other cheeses, I am so happy to hear I have other options! Yum, I just love cheese! I look forward to trying the other brands you recommended. Thanks for the tips!

For the Laughing Cow cheese - what is the fat content? I love these and when I had a look the calories were low but the fat was like 15% of daily recommended. Whoa - I guess I'll limit that!

be careful--i googled it and discovered that the crystal light slurpees have about 50-65 calories per 12 ounces--so if you get one that is 3x that size you are adding in an extra 150 cals, or an entire jenny snack!

The light laughing cow cheese wedges are 50 cal and 2.5 gm fat for two wedges! So you can eat 1 as a "limited free" (like nonfat cream cheese). Yum! I regularly add one to the sunshine sandwich.

Those garlic and herb light Laughing Cow cheeses are so great! If I am really hungry between meals and need something to hold me over, I'll divide it into two pieces and eat on crackers. It is super soft and easy to spread around.

LOL I thought those two foods were related to each other for some reason, so I had to reread it. I thought you were putting the cheese into the slurpees!

I love Crystal Light. Here's my idea- probably not new but:
I've been thinking about buying one of those popsicle trays and making my own frozen popsicles using Crystal light. That way, I can enjoy a frozen treat too (while my BF eats his fruit flavored and fudge sicles). I'm thinking Raspberry Ice and the Orange flavor. YUM!
Too bad the Slurpees are not "free". I wonder if they add sugar or something in it in the "slurpee maker" process that blows the zero calorie gig out.

PS- I've been a huge fan of the Laughing Cow cheeses since my last time with WW.
They are really good. I have not ventured into planning MOMO yet with JC. (just starting week 3).

I'm guessing the Crystal Light slurpees have added sugar from whatever carbonated soda they add - slurpees are usually fizzy.
I used to love slurpees...now it just looks like sugar in a cup...I'd rather have a JC chocolate cake!

I just came across this thread. I am missing my cheese soooo much. Thank you for the info. I know it won't be like the French goat and sheep cheese that I love so much but at least it will be cheesish!

I posted this in another thread, but I recently found fat free feta cheese in the specialty cheese bin at my local supermarket. If they have it near me chances are they have it near you. Stop and Shop carries it. It's made by "President" brand and it comes in both crumbled and block style. It is amazingly good and you don't miss the fat at all!

If you're looking for low calorie frozen snacks .. try Edy's No Sugar Added Fruit Pops. They are delicious, count as a fruit serving, and are only 30 calories. They've been a life saver for me this past week as I battle laryngitis.
