What does everyone think of the lasagna, I am nervous to try it because of the "meatless crumbles".
theaterjunkie76
I was actually afraid of the "meatless crumbles" too, but the lasagna was very good. I was pleased! Not to crazy about the Penne Pasta though.
Hope you like it!

I actually like the lasagna - I always "volumize" it with sliced mushrooms and spinach sauteed in a little garlic. YUM!

The lasagna is one of my favorits. The meatless crumbles don't have a funky flavor or anything that you need to worry about.

being Jewish and fairly observant at that, this is one of the best choices for me. As I can eat "meat" with the cheese. for those that don't know, keeping kosher means no meat and cheese together. this and the penne are excellent choices for me.

It is good, I add veggies and if I have an extra exchange, a little extra cheese is really yummy

I've learned to not read the box ingredients and just try it first! I love the lasagna!

I did not like the lasagna at all. I dont know if it was the meatless crumbles or the seasoning on them but I only at the noodles out of this one and had the scrap any sign of the crumbles off of it. (I am also a very picky eater though!) I will not order it again.

I think it is great. Very filling.
capecodgirl76
it's excellent w/ff parmesan cheese and lots of sauteed zucchini, onions & portobello mushrooms!

I also like it. My local grocery store sells frozen grilled eggplant and I put a slice or 2 of that on the bottom of my plate and then put the lasagna on top. It's good stuff.

I love the lasagna. Meatless crumbles don't bother me at all, I've cooked with them for years. I make chili, tacos, hamburger helper, anything that has crumbled meat. If you think about it, besides A hamburger, recipes with hamburger take on the flavor of whatever you cook it with. The veggie crumbles are the same, and the texture is the same as hamburger when cooked, and they are SOOOO much healthier than meat. Almost no fat and made of soy, one of the "super foods." Just my 2 cents!

I love the lasagna. So far it is my favorite. I added some parmesan cheese to it and made it all the better.
I too don't read the ingredients until I at least taste the food. It works better for me that way.
Fat for the last time
I love the lasagna. My motto is to try everything at least once. You might be pleasantly surprised.

I love pasta/italianesque food, and was worried the lasanga wouldn't hold up to any expectations, and I LOVED it!
Tasted like the meat lasagna from Costco...

I was 'scared' of this too...but i was told it was the same 'meat' as the sausage--
which is veggies.....I tried it last week and it was tasty...and filling
AnaMatopoeia
it's not in my top 5, but it's ok. i add tomatoes.

My husband and I could eat the lasagna every night! We also LOVE the cheesecake, chocolate cake and lemon cake! Yes, we CAN spell D E S E R T S!!! LOL We save half of our strawberries and half of our white chocolate/strawberry Yoplait fat free yogurt and put it on top of the chocolate and lemon cakes. OMG... AWESOME! We also eat them still slightly frozen (they last longer). We absolutely LOVE those items! Then again, we've been very happy with all of it and find it extremely flavorful. No complaints here!
