Anyone know if there is a non JC protein bar out there with the same nutrional content and calories as the anytime bar?

I think the Pria bar is what alot of ladies here use instead of the Anytime bar.

I'm not one of the ladies but thanks to this thread I tried the Pria 110 bars. The Double Chocolate Cookie ones are GREAT ! A treat rather than a dose of medicine. Hard to find around town but drugstore.com has a good price on them. Highly recommended by "one of the boys".

If you have a Wal-mart nearby(and, frighteningly enough, who doesn't) you can find the Pria 110 bars several cents cheaper than your local supermarket or health food store.
I like the French Vanilla and Mint Cookie flavors.

Speciak K Protein Snack Bars. Ive gotten them in Duane Reade for $.93. The only flavor Ive seen so far is the Chocolate Delight. 110 calories and 3 grams of fat.
Taste like a Kit Kat.

thanks for the suggestion of the Special K bars. YUMMY. I am eating one right now. The protein snack bars, make sure you don't buy the protein meal bars. They had 2 flavors at my grocery store by the slim-fast section.

Thank you ladies for the "Pria bar" tip. I bought some at Market Basket (5/$5.00) they are wonderful. They also have less sodium and less sugar. They are soooooo tastey and give a nice change up routine for those who get bored of the anytime bars. I plan to buy a box next time and interchange them with the praline and c&c anytime bars. Thanks again for the wonderful tip!!!

Thanks for the tip to my original post. I've found them at Target and Walmart. No need to buy anytimebars that saves $$

You know, I've really liked/loved most of the JC food, but I just can't even gag down the anytime bars. Thanks to everyone for the tips for an alternative!
