I can not stand the Chicken Fettucini- I take the chicken out.
I hate the pasta parm--eckkk!
I am new to program. I like the lunches-- the pizza pesto is ok, also the burrito.

Some of my favorite dinner choices are...
Turkey with Mashed Potatoes/Gravy
Fish and Chips
Rising Crust Pizza
Mac N Cheese
Meat Loaf with BBQ sauce
Chicken Fajitas
Lunch faves are:
Stuffed Baked Potato/Brocolli
Meatball Sandwich
Turkey Burger (add fresh onions, lettuce, pickle, LF Relish)
Beef Chow Mein
Tuna Salad Kit (not everyones favorite for sure, but I like it)

The thing is...the things that I listed could be another person all time LEAST faves. The best thing to do is to really try everything at least once and then you know which are your favorites.
Good Luck!

Two of my dinner favs are the potstickers and the fajitas. With both I sautee lots of free veggies and both make a very filling dinner.

I only like the frozen meals, none of the ones that don't even require refrigeration, I think those all taste weird.
My favorite dinners are: beef sirloin with rice (if you like BBQ sauce), chicken fajitas (I add mushrooms, chopped up tomatoes and salsa), mac and cheese, meat loaf, salisbury steak, turkey with gravy, and the potstickers.
My favorite lunches are:broccoli and cheese potato, chicken stuffed sandwich, meatball stuffed sandwich, southwestern chicken burrito.I used to like the pesto pizza but then it started tasting like cardboard. The cheesy enchilada is kindof bland but filling. Add salsa to it and it tastes better.

Have you tried the Penne Pasta? No one ever talks about it, but it's one of my favorites. I eat it at least once a week. I saute canned tomatoes and mushrooms, then add them to it. It makes a huge plate of pasta and it's really great. Give it a try!

footgal--i love the penne pasta. It is one of my favorites as well. Adding the tomatoes is a great idea. Can you used stewed tomatoes as well??

I just got the Penne pasta for this week. I am also going to try the baked potatoe, Beef and Lentils this week. My dd found her dinner meals that she likes and sticks with them. She loves the breakfast stuffed sandwhiches, chicken stuffed, and the burrito. She is getting me to try the burrito and the breakfast stuffed sandwhich.
Can someone tell me what potstickers are?? I am trying some new things this week to try and have a variety so that I don't get burned out. For breakfast I stick with the cereal and muffins during the week. Love the French Toast and the Pancakes but I hate the veggie sausage in the Pancakes.

A potsticker is an Asian-style dumpling. A thin pasta on the outside and ground meat on the inside. They're called potsitckers becasue in the "real world" they are steamed first and then pan fried in oil until they're crusty and "stick" to the pot. Of course at JC we just microwave 'em.

I'm not picky at all. I can eat it all. I didn't get 60 lbs overweight from being a picky eater. Most of the dinners taste better if you bake them. I only microwave them when I have to.

When its "been a day" I reach for the meatloaf or mac and cheese. I love a dab of Gulden's mustard on both of them...a bit spicy, very nice.
I also like the turkey and potatos and the lasagna.
I do like the Fetticcini, but only if I saute some broccoli or asparagus to put under it (and sometimes I'm really bad and pull out the chicken and add a couple of shrimp instead)

Fish and Chips or Potstickers, are my top choices, when I have time to cook them right. I “bake” the fish and chips in my toaster oven. I do pan fry my potstickers, with Olive Oil spray (Trader Joe’s brand). I nuke them first then pan fry them until crispy. With the rest I usually make a soup with a lot of veggies and fat free chicken stock, yummy. Then put the potstickers on top, a little hot sauce and you have yourself one very filling meal.
I like most of the dinners, I agree that for most of them they taste better when cooked in the oven. When I have time , I use my toaster oven so I don’t have to heat up my oven for just one meal. But if I’m running late or just don’t want to wait I’ll nuke them. Sometimes I’ll nuke them half-way, then finish off in the toater oven or pan fry them the rest of the way. I guess I just like to “play” with my food.
Mac and Cheese is my least favorite, but that is only because I hardly ever ate Mac and Cheese pre-JC. I have tried it twice though, the first time I didn’t really like it (too mushy), but recently I decided to try everything again and this time I panfried it (again with the Olive Oil spray) and put some parma cheese on it, not bad, not bad. I would have it again.
