I was wondering, where can I find pictures and prices to the JC food? I want to join, but I want to make sure it fits my budget. Thanks

Hi,
You can ask your JCC for a price list.
Alshim
I have a list not sure if it varies where you live, I am in Seattle. PM me if you would like me to fax it to you - I could try scanning it.
But YES your JCC should be GLAD to give you a copy of the order sheet.
Pictures is on the website and nutrional info. Keep in mind that the prices can seem a bit high but when you look at the addtional snack and meals out that you won't be doing I think you will find it is not too expensive. There are ways to cut costs ie I buy my own vitamins, syrup and dressings. I do sub SO or LC's too. At first I would suggest following JC 100% and then incorporate ways to cut costs.
It is an great program, you learn portion size as well as what a truly balance diet means!

I was on the program years ago and knew it would be expensive, but then I thought about it, and you know....
If I was not on the program, I would be eating out at least twice a week or more. I would be dragging my husband and at least one or both of my teenage boys (bottomless pits). If we go to, say, Steak and Shake, that is at least 35 dollars for all four of us. If we go to a nice place it is closer to 70. Another night during the week we will have pizza, hm, that is 25. That does not count the breakfast we would no doubt go out for on at least one day--25 dollars or so. So, if my Jenny food costs 110 dollars and I subtract 85, (low estimate) that is 25 bucks I am out; I think I can afford that. If I take another look and count in the two lunches I would eat from the local sandwich shop (10 bucks)and the many snacks I would buy on impulse, I would be breaking even or SAVING money.
Of course, it all depends on where you are and what your finances are, but I figure, between not eating out and the money I will eventually save on cholesterol and bp meds, it will be worth it.

Thank you all for the info. I am not on JC but have considered it, however the cost always turned me off. We do eat out a few times a week, which would pay for the JC food, thats for sure.
Thanks again
Melody
ps It's about 110 a week?

I am on the rewards program and my weekly food cost me approx. $70.00. If you have a bunch of weight to lose, I suggest the rewards deal. It will save you lot of money in the long run. I sub my own syrup and dressings. I suggest you go in for the free consultation -- you don't have to sign up if you choose not to. It is a good program and I highly recommend it.

Go to a JC Center if one is nearby. They have brochures and a price list which includes every item. I had similar concerns but it has been well worth it!

Forgot to tell you - I joined during the March promotion -$36 for 6 weeks. I was hesitant to go all in because I was afraid I wouldn't like the food. The food is terrific and the program is easy to follow. I'm considering upgrading to the rewards program. I think you make up the price difference if you commit to the long haul. My first week cost $158 (included $36 fee). 2nd week $106, and last week $68. (I bought less food and bought similar items at the grocery store.) The $106 is probably most accurate. Go for it! You'll be glad!

Hey , I have been on JC program for 9 weeks and I am on the reward program and it is costing me about $%37.00 every 4 weeks. What am I doing wrong. I'm going to have to quit because I can't afford that with the cost of fruit and vegetables on the side. Outragous:

It was to say $500.00

Are you getting mostly frozen foods? You should mix in some non-frozen food to reduce the cost. Also, you can get your own syrup (Lite syrup is a great sub) and lite or fat free dressings for the dressings. That also helps with the cost. Alos, next week you will get a bigger discount because you will get 20% off now. I am on 30% off and it is around $70 a week for me now.
