by popular demand?
I'm new so I don't know. Can anybody give an example of a food Jenny Craig continued or brought back a food becasue customers asked them to do so?
I'm impressed by some of the petitions and posts here, especially the 7-grain hot cereal and pancake mix ones.
I guess I'm wondering if the posts work...
Anybody know?

They've brought back a few since I've been here (2 years). Cheese Ravioli, Cashew Chicken, Chocolate Walnut Brownie they actually had a while back and reintroduced it...and the Mesquite Chicken (which isn't here yet, but I hear will be returning this year.)

A ha!
Interesting. The ravioli and cashew chicken are 2 of my favorite meals.

Glad I could make your day!! LOL! I loved it too, and they took it away RIGHT after I started. I think they changed it a little, but still, I'm sure it'll be awesome!

Another food back by popular demand this year...apple crisp! I've never had it, but have heard NOTHING but good things about it! YAY!

What is the mesquite chicken like?
I keep reading about past foods that I wish they'd bring back so I could try them... like Pasta Ole and carrot cake and berry cheesecake...

the mesquite chicken is a lunch. it's a breast of chicken with just the right seasoning and it's served with wonderful potatos! it's friggin delicious!

They also brought back the Cookies and Cream Cheesecake. They introduced that as a temporary item last year and I think we all went crazy when it was discontinued. They brought it back as a permanent item within a matter of months due to popular demand so they do listen to the consumer. That being said, I WANT MY CHICKEN CARBONARA BACK!!!!!!!

I am an old timer and I miss alot of stuff. I liked when you could make the muffins on your own. It seemed to taste better but it seems they improved the current muffins. I also miss the old teriyaki steak, it had like a melba toast under it. It was unusual but good. They had a cheeze omelet that rocked, but it had olestra and I think when olestra was taken out of the market, there went my omelet. I also liked the brown rice medley but everyone hated it.I didn't. They also had a seafood newberg, that tasted really good. even though it sounded terrrible. I wish the ravioli in the can would go, It has been here forever and very ordinary. I guess I can't ask for bigger portions at dinner

Did someone say APPLE CRISP?? That is right up my alley!!
Hope that one is true!!

gypsyone - you said brown rice medely. I remember something similar from the early-mid 1990s that was a boil in a bag I think. I liked that. They also had a pasta primavera that I liked.

Yes, it was a boil mesh bag that had different kinds of rice and you put a sauce on it. I got addicted to it cause I love carbs and I remember the pasta too. I didn't like it that much cause it had different types of pasta in it and the sauce was a bit gummy but yea , I could eat it. Love this topic. Talking about JC food is almost as good as eating it.

I really miss the carrot cake and the mixed nuts. I eat WW carrots cake but thet aren't nearly as good. Miss the pasta ole too.

Does anyone remember the Asparagus Crepe? It was a couple of years ago and didn't last long but I absolutely loved it - it was a dinner. I truly miss that but am THRILLED to hear the Mesquite Chicken is making a comeback - that was one of my all time favorites!!!

I loved the oatmeal! and why did they get rid of the choc cheesecake and oatmeal square so quickly - we had them for 3 weeks, and then gone!
