I was a little uncertian about this one-- but it sure did satisfy my french fry cravings... not bad... I skipped the vinegar though... I ate it plain, with veggies on the side. I got it again this week.
Anyone else have any tips? can you buy FF tartar sauce?

I liked this cooked crisp in the oven instead of the microwave. I could take or leave the vinegar but I must, must, must have it with a cup of "free" coleslaw. Reminds me of the meal from the old Arthur Treachers. Yum!

You can also make fish taco's with it....using a whole wheat tortilla, FF sour cream, a little FF cheese, letucce & tomato. Makes a nice filling meal

Oven prep is mandatory on this one... i serve it with salsa. It's sorta like ketchup only without the salt and sugar, and SPICY!!!

I had this yesterday and I didn't like it at all. Maybe I didn't cook it long enough in the over. It was kind of mushy. Any tips or ideas of how to make this better?? I love fish.

I turn everything over during baking so it gets crispy. Also, I sprayed my fries with "I can't believe it's not butter" spray. I also use real ketchup. It is treat to have something that resembles a fast food meal. Not that I crave that. ;-)

There are FF tartar sauces out there. Another alternative too that I've used is FF Thousand island dressing (adds a slightly different tang).

ZetaStar, Sorry for the delayed reply. Perhaps you found it on the JC website already. It's there in the recipe section but I pasted a copy below. A serving counts as 1 vegetable as noted below.
Cole Slaw
Ingredients
1 small head cabbage (1 pound), thinly sliced
½ cup chopped green bell pepper
½ cup chopped onion
2 Tbl chopped pimiento or red bell pepper
½ cup cider vinegar
3 Tbl vegetable oil
½ cup Equal® Spoonful
1 tsp celery seed
½ tsp dry mustard
¼ tsp salt
1/8 tsp ground black pepper
Directions
Combine cabbage, green pepper, onion and pimiento in medium bowl.
Measure remaining ingredients into jar; cover with lid and shake to blend well. Pour dressing over vegetable mixture and toss to coat. Refrigerate, covered, at least 2 hours to allow flavors to blend.

I had the fish and chips Friday night....oven cooking makes a huge difference....and with the malt vinegar....yummy!
When we go to Epcot...We always make it a point to get Fish n Chips in England, and the JC version is almost as good....actually better because there's no guilt!

I am back and was iffy about this dish but it helps to add alot of veggies with it as it is not as filling as other dinner entrees do ya think?

I have actually had this dish twice. The first time, I cooked it totally in the mircrowave oven and it wasn't that great. The second time, I nuked it for the time stated and then put it in the toaster oven to add crispiness. It was very good that way. I put some ketchup on it (the ff kind) and it reminded me of fast food. I will definitely get it again.

I love this dish but it isnt very filling. Maybe not the best choice for me today when I am having a "hungry" day. I ate 1/2 cup corn afterwards just to fill me up.

This dish has become my Friday night dinner staple (must be 12 years of Catholic school). Like others I'd have to say this is one dish that comes out much better in the oven. Also the director at my center had a great idea for a change, instead of the French fries, use a tortilla and make fish tacos.
