This is the only frozen entre I have not tried. Any recommendations on how to cook it or jazz it up. Should I even try it??

The cashew chicken was the only one I did not love either. I added extra stir fry veges like zuccini and muchrooms onion and garlic with can't beleive not butter spray and ended up liking it.
Good Luck

The cashew chicken was a disappointment to me. I think it was bland. the add-ons previously mentioned would probably help. I throw in a dash of teriyaki to give it a little more flavor.

I didn't like it the first time because the cashews were soggy. But now I open the package and remove all of the cashews before I microwave the dish, then put them back in. It's alot better when the nuts aren't all soggy...

I nuke it for 2 minutes then put it in a pan with extra (low sod) soy and add veggies...ie spinach, broccoli etc whatever I have around. I do the same with the beef stir fry! Yummy!

It is so interesting the differences in people's tastes. I really like the cashew chicken!!! I always cook it in the oven and the cashews are never mushy for me. Oh well that's why there is such a variety of foods to cover the bases

The cashew chicken is good...but I always have to pep it up a little. I stir fry red & green peppers, mushrooms, carrots, broccoli & snow peas, and then add some low sodium soy sauce. I also do this for the beef chow mein & lemongrass chicken!! They are really yummy this way....and very satisfying & filling!!

I am returning after 1yr 4months and find the Cashew chicken pretty good. I like the idea of adding vegetables as a stir fry which I do quite often to most all of my meals.
One question I have is unlimited vegetables, is having 2 cups too much. I don't measure, just fill a frying pan up, spray some Pam and cut up a zuchini, yellow squash and shredded carrots or snow peas.
They are unlimited, but worry I might be overdoing it. It does help to fill me up.

As I understand it from my JCC eating more free vegetables is perfectly fine. I am on the 1500 calorie plan and where it says have 1 1/2 cups of any vergetable that is the MINIMUM I am supposed to eat in a given day for that meal. I never measure my vegetables including my salad. I make what I feel like eating and have been pretty successful so far. My third week I was extremely busy with work and ended up missing some fruit and veggies and it showed in my weight loss numbers. I ended up only losing .5 lbs. I think this is the whole premise behind volumizing, which is to fill up on healthy veggies. This has really helped make me feel full and reducing my cravings for salty, fatty foods. Good luck to you

After reading all the blogs, I was afraid I might find one meal I might not like. I finally had the cashew chicken tonight and thought it was great just the way it was, I noticed it had a little bit of sweet sauce in it. I recommend it!

I steam spinach and portabello mushrooms and throw the cashew chicken on top...REALLY yummy!
Someone on this board mentioned creating a taco salad out of the chili - tried it this weeka and it's my new favorite!!
