I have relied on the Peanut Butter Anytime Bars as part of my diet aid with JC. This week I was disappointed with the new ones. Very gritty or a sand-like texture...and not as good as the old. Called my JC center who told me they had had lots of complaints but they had rec'd a memo that the bars had been reformulated. I called JC corporate to complain, and they said they had had a lot of calls. She then told me they had NOT been reformulated but it was due to a quality control issue. Some batches had been distributed that were not quite up to "taste" standards. She then asked for expiration date from box and any other nos. that were on it. So, hopefully the old ones will be back......although not sure because of conflicting info.

Yes, there has been a bit of discussion about this recently. The first box I had wasn't very good but the last couple have been fine, or maybe I'm just getting used to the taste!

I love the new bars. I couldn't eat the old ones. Well to each his own.

It is intersting how everyone's tastes are different. I love the Praline bars and the 1st box of Peanut Butter Anytime Bars I received. However since then the PB Bars have a really gritty taste and they actually make my teeth hurt (they were in the brown/orange box the 1st time and now come in the multi-colored box). It is so bad I cannot order them anymore and if they really did quit the Cookies and Cream Bars then I will have to stick with the Praline ones. Oh well.
