Hey just made a discovery today while out shopping at Target. I found Pilsbury mini pancakes (frozen about 40 to box)and they work out to about 23 calories each, so 6=136 calories. Then I found the frozen morningstar veggie sausages (80 calories each, 6 to a box) so 216 calories for my MOMO JC silver dollar pancake equivalent. I made 6 packages and put them in ziplock bags...total cost per package 86 cents each.....better than $3.69. I also found a Smucker's sugar free/fat free syrup (20 calories for 1/4 cup...thicker than JC verion...that one runs about 35cents a serving...grand total for MOMO pancake breakfast = $1.20, JC equivalent w/less syrup $4.19. For those that are concerned about the cost of food on the program...this is a good way to substitute and be able to stay on program.

just wanted to let you know...i took your advice and enjoyed this just this morning...its a great substitute and much cheaper than the JC pancake breakfast...the sausage was much more "meaty" i thought...
also, i am using mrs butterworths for the syrup...its sugar free...35 calories for a quarter cup...and seemed much thicker than the JC syrup...
thanks for sharing...works great for me!

does anyone know if the other stats are close to jc for pancakes and sausage. what is the comparison for fat, sodium, ect. just wondering since the calories are so close to jc of 190 - ( without syrup)

Oh by the way, have you guys and gals looked on EBAY for JC food? I bidded on some items- but didnt win any, but it's another outlet for getting less expensive JC food!
