I just wanted to let everybody know that I talked to my counselor and the Pria Complete Nutrition bars that are 100 cals and 3grams of fat are an ok sub for the anytime bars. I have been eating them one a day for a week and I lost 3 pounds this week!!
This is a great solution for me because I just can't stomach the anytime bars. The Pria bars are really good. Just be sure you get the snack bars and not the meal replacement bars.

Thanks for the tip! I don't mind the pbutter, but the first praline one almost killed me!! And I'm not a fussy eater!!!

They're actually 110 calories, but who's counting?
I'm planning to get them after I go to maintenance. They're a little bigger, too.

I am so not a fan of the anytime bars and I am a picky eater so that makes even finding myself eating yogurt not so easy. I hate anything with aspertame so the fat free ones are not for me. I've opted to trade in a couple of extra calories for stonyfield farms yo-baby fruit and cereal yogurt. It's delicious but it does have 110 calories which is doable if you're on the 1500 plan.

this is a great idea. My counselor didn't mention this, but DID say that I could use a Pria bar for a snack substitute instead of Jenny's snacks. I am going to try this for a week, because I believe it would be cheaper.

Special K has a new protein bar that is REALLY good. it really doesn't have enough calcium to qualify, but once in a while my counselor said it would be okay. The peanut butter tastes like a baby ruth. They are a different texture that most other protein bars not so much crisp rice.

I also dislike the anytime bars. I cannot stand the overly-sweet chocolate flavor...Also, I cannot stomach to sweet Dannon Lite NF yougurt. It is just tooo sweet for me....Is the nf vanilla a better way to go, and if so, how much fresh fruit would I substitute???? Thanks.

If you like yogurt, try WW yogurt. I like the vanilla. I guess you can freeze it for an ice cream sort of taste.

I have never tried pria bars or anytime bars- I usually just have yoghurt and fruit. But you guys have inspired me to try a pria bar.
Thanks ladies!

I tried the Pria 110 calorie plus bar yesterday...chocolate cookies or something like that...it was very good. The anytime bars are also 110 calories. Great substitute and they're bigger.

Thanks for the suggestion! I am just sick to learn the old PB Anytime Bars(brown box) have been replaced by the new Anytime Bar (color box). If anyone else loves the old version PLEASE write to JC and tell them! I really think the old PB Anytime Bars have kept me on track and given me that Choc/reeses fix. I am going to try the Pria bar. If anyone has any old Anytime Bars let me know and I will buy them off you!

Hey everyone,
I just want to point out that the anytime bar is a Vitamin in bar form. I think it's great that ya'll found substitutions, but please make sure you take a multivitamin as well so you dont get ill from a vitamin deficientcy.

This is my first post. I just couldn't resist noting that my favorite treat is putting frozen blueberries and black raspberries in a WW vanilla yogurt. That cup full of frozen berries makes the yogurt taste icy and divine. It takes a while to eat (watch out for "cold" head rush)which I also like because you get a lot of long enjoyment from a very "good for you" fruit and milk combo. Oh, I put this in a teacup or a mug because you need a little more space than the yogurt container provides. Hope this idea helps someone.

Hi,
I just signed up for the Jenny Direct and was stunned at how expensive it was
I am currently looking for ways to cut down on the expenses and this sounds like a good idea. Does it count as the vitamin supplement too? Or do we need to take an additional vitamin?
Thanks!

From the information on the label it seems like the PRIA bar has the same vitamins as the anytime bar. Has anyone else checked it out?

I don't happy to have a Pria bar handy, but I used to use them a few years ago and loved them then, almost felt like I was cheating. They do have a website where you can get the nutritional info and compare them to the anytime bars.
While I didn't mind the new anytime bars, I didnt like the old ones at all, and about died with the praline. The thing I like about Pria is that they give you variety! and variety is the spice of life
