Question about this....I don't like anything with Lemon flavor so I have been avoiding this....Does it taste like lemon?

I actually didn't try it straight out of the microwave...I followed another JCers suggestion and added 2 tsp of peanut butter to it and stirred it all together when it was hot. It was like a pad thai, but better. I was really scared to try this one, but now it is probably my favorite or second favorite dish. I am looking forward to having it again on Saturday.....now i'm hungry

Doesn't taste like lemon at all to me- it has a curry taste and is spicy. I don't mind a bit of spice, but I find that I don't like the taste of curry at all - never really have, so I don't get it any longer.

Consultant said there was some sort of fish base to it - perhaps that's what is supposed to be lemon????
I didn't find it had much taste at all and only ordered it once. Maybe I need to give it a try again with the pb.

I never tasted lemon, just tastes like a mild white sauce flavor to me like in chinese food.

Lemongrass is a Thai seasoning/plant. It is not lemon. So, even if you don't like lemon, you might like lemongrass. I love the taste of lemongrass.
Tastes more like grass than lemon. I wasn't a fan!

I like the Thai Lemongrass Chicken. Somebody said it had "Fish Base." I HATE Fish. The only kind I will eat is Shellfish..Shrimp, Lobster & Crab. I serve the meal over Baby Spinach and it is great..

I found this a bit sweet. My friend who eats other lemongrass foods regularly suggested it might have coconut milk in it. That part made it just too...weird for me.

I REALLY LIKE THE LEMONGRASS CHICKEN. tASTS LIKE CHINESE FOOD. It's better than the beef
stir fry chow mein thing. Add some snap peas & water chestnuts or steamed broccoli to bulk it up. I have ordered it again and it is only my third week

Usually don't post a negative BUT....the lemongrass stuff to me was horrible. Have never ordered it again. Didn't know about the pb but I don't think that would even have saved it for me.
Next least favorite....the garden veg. soup...oh my...not good.
Sorry,but you did ask!

I was afraid of this one too, but since I won't eat any of the "shelf" foods, I figured I would try it. I love it!!
I taste no curry at all, which is good since I can't stand the stuff. My consultant said it was a little hot. My first one was not at all and my second was moderately hot.
Give it a try. If you don't like it -- no big deal. But you may find a new favorite.

Tied with the turkey burger for my favorite lunch. I love it, with or without added peanut butter. The peanut butter really makes it taste like Thai food from a restaurant, like pad tai, as others have mentioned.

I've said this so many times, I hope I'm not sounding like a broken record to anyone. But, my favorite lunch is the Thai Lemongrass served over a huge bed of red leaf lettuce. Add some fresh red chili pepper sauce and mix it all up. It is deeee-lish!!! I just ate and the thought of it makes me want to eat again!!! Oh yeah, that's what got me here in the first place!!
