Okay, I know this is one of those love it or hate it foods but I had it for the first time tonight. After reading about it previously here on this site I learned I should bake it rather than microwave it. I found it pretty good! I had a nice big salad with it and a big ole bottle of water and I was very satisfied. I will be having it again. Oh, and I had the bean w/ham soup today for lunch. That was pretty good too! Overall, I have had a good day.

If you are in a hurry to make the fish and chips: Microwave it up until almost done and then transfer to a foil line pan: place in the broiler for a few minutes and it crisps right up (I turn it over once in the broiler)…a lot faster than cooking it in the oven from frozen.
I quite enjoyed this too!

Hi Laura, I just noticed we have very similar start weights and goal weights. Hope we both have great success! I don't know if you are interested or not but there is a great Yahoo Group called "JennysPals" that I am really enjoying. Its cool because everything comes straight into your "inbox". I forget what I post here and where sometimes! LOL If you are interested I can send you the url in PM. Let me know!

I just had the fish and chips last night. Good thing I had read to bake it. I loved it! Totally one of my favorite! The portion was small but I found it very filling.

What kind of fish is in it? I know it's not halibut (to me the ONLY kind of fish for fish and chips) but is it something that doesn't taste "fishy"? Geesh that sounds funny, even to me. Hope you all know what I mean.

One of my favorites too. It's a great change from the rest of the food. I don't find it to be "fishy" smelling at all just good. I know what you mean and I'm sensitive to that too. It's not a problem. I add a SMALL amount of reduced tartar sauce ~ Yum. Mia
