Ohmagosh, I've never been a fan of BBQ sauce but thought okay...I'll try it, almost everythings been good so far.
took it out of the mircrowave took a whiff, tried a little off my finger and BLECH!!!! tasted like an ash tray!!!
So I rinsed it off (yes under the tap lol) and then sauteed up some mushrooms and LOTS of onions to mask what ever BBQ sauce was lingering.
who uses BBQ sauce like gravy???

I won't even try that one. There are some things I just don't like and well that would be one.
Other things I will not try: Beef with Mashed Potatos and Gravy (never a fan of these in the frozen variety), Salisbury Steak (ugh - never liked this in any form, most of the soups (I'm not a soup fan), Swedish Meatballs (another ugh)...

Meatloaf is one of my favorites as well.

This just goes to show us all - as we know - tastes vary so much!

I love the meatloaf and just about all the frozen dinner but I do have to say that I thought the same thing. Why does everything have barbeque sauce on it. Maybe it's because it's less calories then brown gravy. brown gravy has flour and grease in it so it's better for you. Gee, I just answered my own question.lol The mashed potatoes and gravy is horrible. It's shelf food and the mashed potatoes were like a brick and the gravy reminded me of dinty moore stew. I threw it in the trash. I don't like hardly any of the shelf food but I like the frozen food except the lemongrass chicken and the cheesy enchiladas.

I have to admit, once I had washed the meatloaf lol....and removed all the bbq sauce it didn't taste as bad - just the BBQ sauce BLECK!
Sure glad God gave us the brains to improvise

I actually like it, but I wish there was no BBQ sauce on it either.

I love the BBQ sauce and usually smear the little bit of potatoes in it to get all of it!
Tastes are definitely individual!

LOL, yes I agree the BBQ sauce is pretty heinous. It comes in several of the meals and I always throw it away.

I love everything in this meal!!!

I hate their BBQ sauce. If it was a little more subtle....I'd even like a tomato or a ketchup taste to it more.
The meatloaf and the Beef Sirlion I think have a same BBQ sauce.
Ugh.

I normally do not like BBQ sauce but I LOVE THEIRS meatloaf is def a fav!!!!

I tried it week one. Yuck! I liked most of foods I tried the first week, but I thought the meatloaf was absolutely awful.

Shoot! I'm supposed to have it tomorrow night for the first time, now I'm scared!

Looks like I'm the only crazy one who absolutely loves the meatloaf. I get at least 2 of them each week! I love the bbq sauce too.

I like the meatloaf i just scrape off the bbq sauce and put ketchup on it yummmm.

I love the bbq sauce. The beef sirloin and the meatloaf are 2 of my favs!

Sorry but to love the meatloaf. Did you like before or is just the JC one that you don't like?

I also love the meatloaf- I plan on having it every week-I prefer mine with bbq sauce- I was raised eating it that way.

I am off JC but LOVED the meatloaf. I am usually a gravy eater but did enjoy the BBQ sauce! Yum
funny how different our tastes all are.

The barbeque sauce adds flavor to what could be a rather bland meatloaf without it. It is my understanding the barbeque sauce is a hit with most people. I guess you just happen to be one of the few who don't find it palatable.
I quite enjoy the meatloaf with the BARBEQUE sauce especially. If I were you I just wouldn't order it again.
