Yummy!!! I just had it tonight for dinner, I thought it was great. Lucky me, my center just got it in today, so I switched up my dinner menu for tonight. Next time, I may add some red pepper flakes to it. Loved it.

Yes the Carbonara is wonderful. Penne Pasta, chicken, peas, bacon and white sauce. Had it last night and they said it would only be available for a limited time. I liked it well enough that I will have it twice next week. Very filling and tastes fabulous.

My center said it will be a few more weeks before they get it. Carbonara is one of my favorite sauces. I plan to get a few each week to stock up. I hope it is good as you all say it is

Thanks for the heads up though. If I like this stuff (supposed to get it the end of August at our centre) I'm loading up with extras so I can have a stock. I did that with the raspberry cheesecake and I'm sure glad I did!

The new chicken carbonara is very good! I tried it tonight (my centre just got it in yesterday) and I loved it. I will be getting it at least once a week.

I havent had mine yet but lookin forward to trying it. I'm glad that most have liked it. does anyone know what the exchanges are? The starches, meat etc. Thanks for the help

I am so bummed,today at my weigh in, I saw the sign, and asked my consultant to add a chicken carbonara to my order. I just realized that I didn't get it. (Didn't pay for it either, so that's OK) Can't wait to try it next week!

I loved the new chicken meal. I want to try to add some tuna fish into it next time, I think it would be great

Just tried chicken carbonara yesterday and it is very yummy...and sadly a "limited" item. I will definetely stock up. Had to add just a little water like I do to the chicken fettucine, just to make the sauce a litle more creamy. I love the peas!!

This dish was fabulous! I really missed the smokey flavor of bacon. Mine did not have all that much chicken in it but it was good! I will definately order again before it is gone!

Cool! I just got this today at my weigh in and I will definately be looking forward to it. Wish now I would have switched it with my dinner but I didn't read this until after the fact. I will probably try it tomorrow evening! My daughter went with me to weigh in this morning (she's 12) and she was looking at the picture and drooling! LOL I bought her some "like items" at Walmart to see if she will really stick to a plan. If she does we might be weighing in together soon. I need her encouragement. She is walking with me some too.

It looks like I'm the only person who really didn't like it. It's not like I hated it or anything, but I just didn't really like the bacon flavor to the dish, but other than that it was alright.

I got it, but am scared to try it with the peas and bacon together.

I am eating this right now. I'm not impressed! It is very dry, and there were only 4 tiny pieces of chicken (one of which was all fat). Maybe I'll try again sometime, maybe I got a bad box.

LJ, someone else posted to add a little bit of water to make the sauce creamier. Apparently it makes a big difference.
Haven't had it yet; coming to our centre this week. Can't wait.

Another reason I think it gets so dry is because the way I eat has totally changed since I've been on JC, meaning it takes me 3 times as long to eat as it would have before. By the time I'm trying to finish up the meal it's long ago gone cold! ;-) I will add some water to the next box!

I didn't really enjoy this, but I think that is because of the bacon.

Worse item JC ever created! It was so dry even after taking it out of the microwave, plus I only got three tiny bits of chicken the size of my thumbnail! I feel jipped!

i had mine last night and loved it...it didn't have quite enough sauce, and I guess I could of added a little more water to it like someone else mentioned...
The peas and bacon made it. Yes, I only had 4 little peices of chicken, but i am not a big meat eater anyway and loved the bacon peices more!!!

I had it tonight and loved it. I add a touch of skim milk to make it creamier. Not much chicken although my cat always eats half of it anyway. No one mentioned that it was limited. I still miss the Pasta Ole, Chicken & Cashew and the Carrot Cake.

Well I bought 4 of these today based on all the comments on the boards... last time they had a temp item my center only had it in for one week.... so I had it for supper tonight... it was tasty, but I think next time I will cook it the way I do the fettucini... cook up another veg (brocolli or asparagus) only partially cook in microwave, then add some water and a little ff cream cheese and finish cooking... oh and the red pepper flakes sound like a good idea...

I tried the chicken carbonara this week and I really enjoyed it. The bacon really seemed to make it for me. I guess that I need to stock up on it before it is gone.
In case anyone doesn't know yet, the raspberry cheesecakes are back! According to my counselor, they got enough complaints that they brought it back!

Sorry to say...but I didn't like it. Didn't hate it but didn't like it either. Too runny for me (which sounds surprising b/c others have complained it is too dry). Limited chicken doesn't bother me (had about 4 little pieces) but the cream sauce was like water. Not a keeper for me!
