I was prepared not to like this, but was surprised I did. Sauce was bit sweet (and needed a touch of salt), but a pretty good, filling portion for lunch - I can see how I could make this a good dinner as well. There was lots of sauce, which I like.
On the other Italian foods: I hated the lasagna - the texture of the meat (fake meat) really turned me off in the whole dish. I enjoyed the ravioli (but it needs more sauce, in my opinion). The chicken fettuccine needs help - too goopy and dry.

I like the rotini, but I am not crazy about the meatballs and usually don't eat all of them. I like to add a little grated parmesan cheese to this meal which adds a little bit of sodium and good cheesy flavor! The chicken fettucini is one of my favorite meals, but I add steamed broccoli to it each time, making sure all that sauce coats the broccoli because it makes it so yummy. I also eat the ravioli, but I don't eat the veggies that come with it. I throw those away and cook up some green beans instead and have those with my 3 raviolis. I had the lasagna at the beginning of the program but stopped eating it after looking at the sodium content.

The first time I tried the Chicken Fettuccine I thought it was a little dry and goopy as well. I cook mine in the microwave and when it is done I add a small amunt of water and that seems to work perfectly by giving it just enough moisture and making the sauce creamy.

I had the chicken fettucine last night for my first dinner. It was great! I also had broccoli with it and melted a piece of fat free american cheese on top. YUMMY!

I was also very suprised by the Rotini. I really liked it! I have been avoiding the shelf stable foods for some reason, but this one got me to dig into the others and give those a shot. I am still holding onto a sweet and sour chicken-no one has had very good things to say about it so far!

The rotini is also good when you stir in some garlic peper halfway through the cooking process and then a small amount of parmasean cheese before eating.
Makes it spicier.
