I was pleasantly surprised with this. It had some flavor and not a bad portion (I had it for lunch - swapped lunch and dinner today). I put it over lettuce greens and it was yummy.
If I do it at home, I think it would be great with some diced onion and tomato added.

I like cooking diced zuchinni and onions in a saute pan sprayed with vegetable spray until al dante. Then I place the mixture in a bowl, top with the lentils, a pinch of hot sauce and heat for about 1 1/2 minutes. It is soo good.

I had the lentils and beef today for the first time. I thought I would hate it cause it did not smell appetizing when I nuked it. but it is very filling and does not taste bad. The meat is quite tender and 10 oz is good. I think I will order it again.

I had the lentils with beef today. It is the first meal in 14 days that I could not choke down. I had to throw it away. I made the chili con carne...and it was much better.

Since I'm on the road a lot in places where I may not have a microwave, I experimented with eating this dish cold. It works for me. I love it poured over stir/steamed vegetables including bok choy, cabbage, green beans, squash. Whatever I have. It has become a staple in my diet.

Thought I would not like it but I think it is very good. Find it very filling too. I will try it over the lettuce--thanks for the idea.

We (hubby and me) like this over mashed cheesy cauliflower. I steam about 1/2 a head of cauliflower, cut up small pieces, in low sodium broth for 3-4 minutes. Drain off most of the broth, saving it for soup or sauce later, then using a stick blender I mash the cauliflower adding some FF Cheddar and chopped scallions. I make enough to make about 2 1cup servings. Pour Lentils and Beef over cauliflower and enjoy. Also worked really well with Turkey Chili.
