My husband and I love the potstickers a lot. But the portion size seems kind of small. I usually make a cucumber vinegar salad to go with it (like served at Thai restaurants). But I'd love to hear how others dress of this meal.
Ideas?

Potstickers, hands down my fav! I serve them on a bed of stir fried veggies: Sprouts, chopped garlic, thinly sliced onions, mushrooms, shredded cabbage, and Mann's Broccoli slaw sauteed in FF olive oil spray spiced with Ceyenne, 5 Spice, Low Sodium Soy (or Braggs liquid aminos), and I top it off with my absolute fav......SRIRACHA (Thai hot sauce, very low sodium). Tadaaaaa. Hope you like!

Just had them last night and I as well serve them with sauteed onions, mushrooms, garlic, red peppers, shredded cabbage and broccoli. Yum!

Thanks for the suggestions. I have never been a fan of these but I'll give them another try with the veggies and spices, etc.

I make them into a soup. Cook up some carrot slices in a chicken broth/water combination then dump the whole meal, plus some chopped up bok choy in there and cook until the bok choy is done. Delicious.

YUM YUM YUM! I love the combo flavors of the ginger/sesame/cilantro! This is one of my faves. I savor each won-ton, small bires at a time.
I serve this with a salad of fresh spinach, a dash of sesame oil, rice vinegar, soy, 1/2 a packet of Equal.
YUM!

I had this last night and the "dumpling" part was very good, but I did not like the fake tofu chicken in the rice, I had to eat it with soy sauce to get it down.

Loved the potstickers and just had the Thai chicken noodle lunch and it was delicious too. Agree the portions are small but I suppose these are normal portions--I am just used to eating like a lumberjack with gigantic meals. I make do with the small portions with big salads and extra vegetables.

I turn the potstickers into hot and sour soup by adding broth, sauteed mushroms, onions, chinese cabbage, broccoli, sprouts - whatever I have on hand. Then I season up with extra garlic, ginger, soy, a few drops of hot oil. a bit of vineger and some ground black papper. One time I added so many vegatable that I could not finish it all at one time

the potstickers is the only meal I have had so far that I will NOT reorder. I thought it was total YUK!!

GAmama I am with you on this one. I was very turned off with the potstickers...they seemed far too rubbery for me. I will not re-order them either....

I LOVE the potstickers! However, I bake them in the oven. I do not nuke them! When you bake them, they have a crispy taste. I ususally stir fry some pea pods with light soy sauce and garlic and its a wonderful dinner.

I loved them too but had to pick the tofu-fake-chicken out of the rice.

I am doing the planned menu my first 2 weeks, and the potstickers were on week 1 and I thought they were the worst food out of the week. The other meals were yummy, but the potstickers were nasty.
I like week 2 planned better, and for week 3 I am going to personalize.

I loved them! Added a tiny bit of soy sauce to the vegie/rice mixture but they reminded me of cashew vegetables. It's funny how everybody has different tastes but I will definitely be getting them again.

I loved the potstickers, and while the flavor is fine, I cannot get past the gross texture of the tofu.
so I threw away that portion of the meal.

This is one of the meals I threw out and decided going hungry was better. Isn't it funny how some people love one thing and others can't stand it. This was my least favorite next was the veggie soup YUK!
Happy losing....

I am disturbed to read that the "chicken" is actually tofu. Why don't they call it mock chicken or tofu chicken? How many other meals actually have tofu substituted for real meat, although they label it meat?
I personally cannot stand tofu and would like to be forewarned.
I've had a couple of things so far that I couldn't get even half-way through, and I am finding the taste/smell of several items odd. I am on my first week, so everything is new at this point. I guess you must get used to things.

There is chicken, real chicken, in the potstickers. The soy "chick'n" is listed as a subtitle to the Vegetable and Chicken Potstickers.
I'm actually quite impressed with the clear labeling of JC products.

Ok, I must be misunderstanding about what part of the Potstickers is tofu. Can anyone clarify?
Also, someone mentioned that the Breakfast Stuffed Sandwich had tofu in it as well? Can you confirm that?

The tofu is with the bed of rice, vegies and edamame that the potstickers are served on.
I haven't heard about the tofu in the SBS and won't have one to check the ingredients until my appt. tomorrow.

I loved the Potstickers! Out of the whole preplanned menu, the only thing I didn't care for was the Pesto Pizza! I am not a tomato fan and it was just too much for me, but I did eat it because I had to! But hopefully week 2 won't have pizza on it! I go for my first WI tomorrow! Hope everything goes well! i haven't cheated so we will see! Anyways Ladies, have to go pick up my daughter from school! Stay focused and keep smiling!

Potstickers is one of my fav dinners. First, I cook in the microwave while I saute onions and a little garlic. Then I add the JC meal into the pan and cook it with the onions for about 5 minutes, add salt & pepper, and maybe just a little soy sauce.

Add me to the list that can't stand the pot-stickers. I thought that this would be my favorite food as I absolutely love Asian food and love the Lean Cuisine version. My problem is with the tofu chicken...I can't take it!!!
