I love cilantro but found that it was spoiling in my fridge because I wasn't using it fast enough. I had been looking at the hearbs and seasonings in tubes in vegatable aisle and decided to try the cilantro. It is so easy to use that I decided to buy the garlic, then the ginger and just bought the lemongrass.
I had found that most of the Jenny oriental type entrees were not seasoned enough for me.
Today I made extra vegatables for the Thai Lemongrass Chicken. Then I mixed squeezes of all four tubes to about a teaspoon of lite soy. I put the vegatables in a big bowl, mixed the seasoning through and added the jenny dish and mixed it all togather. It was far better that anything I had done before!
The tubes are expensive but very convenient and I have used almost the whole tube of cilantro without is spoiling.
I love cilantro and add it to many jenny dishes.

I had found frozen cubes of various herbs at my grocery store. Convenient since you can just pop out a teaspoon's worth and keep the rest frozen, however I found that they had "oil" in them and in the end, I stopped using them because of this hidden fat.
Have you looked at the ingredients on your tubes to make sure you're not consumming hidden fat or salt or other stuff?
It's so easy to overlook such a thing

I checked the tubes and although canola oil is listed in the ingredients, it mus be a minimal amount since a generous serving seems to be about 10 calories. I rarely use salad dressing and when I do,I use less than a teaspoon. I'm of the dip the tines of the fork school of dressing my salads. I think my use of the tubes is still within my free and limited free foods allowance since I do not often use them either.
