OK I am a true chocoholic, and I just LOVE that lemon cake. (even better than the chocolate cake) I waited four weeks to try it and I am so sorry I did!

I completely agree - I usually prefer chocolate, however, that lemon cake is amazing! I eat it slightly warmed, so the icing gets just a little gooey...mmm!

If you cut it up and put it on sliced strawberries with a little bit of FF cool whip, OMG! HEAVEN!!

I followed Ashre's suggestion last night and it was wonderful. Thanks
I did cheat slightly (maybe 30 cals worth) and used some strawverries my husband had dipped in chocolate as the strawberries. It was bittersweet chocolate so not much sugar.
Somewhere there was a suggestion to warm blueberries and do the same thing including cutting the cake in bite sized pieces. This is supposed to make it like blueberry pie.

Somehow I never knew there was a lemon cake. I don't know how I missed it all these months but I am ordering one tomorrow.

I read the post which suggested cutting the cake up, adding blueberries and ff cool whip. I have made this 4 times in the past few weeks and I LOVE it. I bought one bag of frozen blueberries, divided it up into a million zip lock bags. When it is time for dessert, I just pull out my baggie and cake and it is super fast and easy!

One night I didn't feel like waiting for my lemon cake to thaw (I keep them in the freezer), and decided to give it a try frozen. I loved it this way! I know it sounds strange, but I think the packaging keeps it from freezing solid, so it just stays really cold and gives it a whole new texture and taste. I strongly recommend trying this at least once. I also eat the brownie the same way. Anyone else ever try this?

Oh, I don't even like sweets but the lemon cake has made a sweet lover out of me. It is absolutly amazing. And on blueberries, what an idea!!!! Can't wait to try it. I live in blueberry country and every summer when they are picked I buy flats and flats of the tasty little things and freeze them for the rest of the year. I have a small freezer in my garage just for blueberries. Can't wait to try them with the lemon cake.

Smuckers makes Low Sugar Jelly in Strawberry flavor . . . I smear some of that on the top and then shoot some whipped cream on it . . . it's really good for an evening when you're all chocolated out . .
