I am just finshing up my 3rd week and I am already getting tired of the breakfast food!
Granted, I don't like cereal usually unless has some sugar in it so I have not tried those. Nor the breakfast bars. Can anyone tell me if those items are good and which ones you like the best?
I have been eating the pancakes (dont really like them) the french toast ( it is good but growing tired of it) the breakfast stuffed sandwich (I am still liking this one pretty well but I cant eat it everday!) and the sunshine sandwich. (which I honestly cannot stomach another day)
Any suggestions of your fav.'s is appreciated!!!

I actually DO eat the breakfast stuffed sandwich every day, and I've been doing this for 5 months! A few weeks ago I got one pancakes & veggie sausage for Sunday morning variety, but missed the bss so I went back to everyday. (I also tried a Morningstar farms breakfast sandwich because I'm over halfway and have to try meals on my own occasionally. I didn't like it very well either.)

I am a cereal eater since it is simple and quick to make. The JC Multigrain cereal is kinda bland. The Fruit & Granola is really sweet, definitely no sugar required. The honey oat bar is pretty good and so are the muffins. If you want to try the cereals but are concerned about wanting to put sugar on it just remember you can use artificial sweeteners.

For me, I love the Sunshine Sandwich. I eat that every day cause I am not a cereal eatter. Just my 2 cents.

try the muffins --- they're delicious. The Banana Nut is my favorite but the blueberry is good too.
I like 7 Grain Hot Cereal with low carb peaches in it
I've been known, on a pms morning to actually eat one of the chocolate cakes with a glass of skim milk/with ice in it ---

Im only on my third JC day so I haven't had many breakfast items yet but so far I enjoyed the Sunshine Sandwich and the Triple grain twists. I had the stuffed breakfast sandwich but it was too runny

Hey! I have my first consultation tomorrow, and I guess I'll have to pick out my food then. I am NOT a cereal eater at all. My traditional breakfast is scrambled egg beaters on lo-cal toast with mustard. I know it sounds yucky, but I can eat that every morning (and usually do). Is this Sunshine Morning Sandwich something similar?
Also, what's really good selection for dinner for someone who enjoys cheesy lasagna?
Cheers! John

John: The JC lasagne is good. You might want to ask your counselor how you and use an exchange to add more cheese. You might also like the Chicken fettucini if it is not the tomatoes that make the lasagne for you.
Re: Breakfast. I'm not a cereal person, but I do like the Complete Start with 4 oz of Dannon Yogurt Smoothie instead of milk. Also I like to add strawberries or banana. If you like suggary cereal then you will like the triple grain crisps and the granola. I loved the granola but there was not enough of it to keep me happy. I did not like the trip;e grain crisps because they were so sweet.
I think the Strawberry bar is still considered a breakfast and I liked that. It was kind of like a strawberry newton. It also was good cut up in the Dannon Smoothie.

The sunshine sandwich is yummy if you add a slice of ff american cheese (just have a half cup of milk instead of a whole cup). I generally don't like ff cheese, but it's good melted on this sandwich. The muffins are very tasty. I usually put mine in the toaster oven, the edges get all nice and crispy and they taste fresh baked. I have to say that I like all the JC breakfasts except for the seven grain cereal, but the cereals are not filling enough for me. I prefer something nice and warm for breakfast.

I really like the French Toast

The muffins are good. The breakfast bar is pretty good. But I think I can buy granola bars cheaper. I will try the French toast tomorrow. I hear they are really good. Didnt like the stuffed breakfast sandwich. Nor the sunshine sandwich. Although I might have to try the sunshine sandwich again from home. I was at work and fixed it really quick. Good luck!

This is my 4th week and I just tried the complete start cereal this week. Add 1 banana or favorite fruit. Use organic milk, the 1% and skim taste much richer than reg. milk, and 1 serving of ff cool whip. YUM!
I also add splenda to sweeten.

In three weeks. I am impressed with JC foods.

I'm not really into muffins or breakfast bars for breakfast. While the cereal portion is small (from my norm) - I do LOVE the complete start and find it filling. I like the French toast, pancakes and breakfast stuffed sandwich. Tomorrow I try the sunshine sandwich....I like more substnace to breakfast and it "feels" like a sandwich is more (to me).

This morning I had the JC Sunshine Sandwich with 2% cheese slice melted on the bun. I sat down and savored it. I left off the sauce and the salsa I had been using and it was better than any McMuffin I ever had. This is the top breakfast for me. Before JC I was often tempted to stop at McD's on the way to the Y to exercise. Now I have a healthy alternative.

I take the complete start and granola cereals and add them to a FF yogurt. I don't like eating smaller amounts of cereal, but for some reason yogurt makes me feel more full and with the cereals on them it tastes like a treat.
The pancakes were a joke to me. They were so little. The french toast was good. The sunrise sandwich is good too. I would die a happy woman if I never saw another oat bar or strawberry bar........yuck!

I also like the french toast, sunshine sandwich, and stuffed sandwich, you should give the complete start cereal a try...very good

OK now I just have to say, I read somewhere on here to take a strawberry bar and split it down the middle and spread 2 tsp peanut butter on it(take one fat exchange please) and OMG, it was so good!!! I am not going to forget that taste for a while. THANK YOU!

I did not like the honey oat bar at all...is there a better tasting alternative to that? It was too thick, chewy, and too sweet for me.

I just had the Sunshine sandwich and it was yummy! I'd love to have that everyday! But I do enjoy most of the cereals, I just like those at nite better.

Well, what DO you like for breakfast? LOL
You could always put a splenda packet in the cereal. I actually LOVE all the frozen breakfasts and the scramble is coming too!

I have to admit I've been eating the french toast every day for 9 weeks now and I love it. I'm a creature of habit, though, and don't like eggs, cheese, etc. Definately more a "sweets" person. I don't like the fruit that comes with it tho---I toss it.
I will occasionally eat the multi cereal!

fortunetly i like all the breakfast foods. from hot foods, to cereal, to bars. i am lucky enough to be able to switch it up. i make lil fruit sandwiches with my french toast and dont even use the syrup. if i have a least fav i would say it is the pancakes.
and my fav would have to be the stuffed sandwich.
Good luck.

I also love the French toast but tried the new breakfast scramble today .. it's really good. Although sometimes I just have two soft boiled eggs and a piece of whole wheat toast. "Real food" once in awhile!
