I'm excited that salsa is free because I love it but, aside from eating it with tortilla chips, I don't know what to do with it! Any ideas/suggestions?

The counselor at my centre said to put some on the chicken enchilada, chicken fajitas, or even the sunshine sandwich (ranchero-style?) I love to put it on the enchilada!!!

I would recommend going for fresh salsas rather than most jarred brands as they can contain sugar which can up the starch content.
In most deli sections of grocery stores they'll have the fresh made salsas. they don't keep as long as those in jars but the flavour is often better.
You can also take a stab at making your own salsa to make sure it's all vegetable. And I'm with ya on the celery. It's shape makes it ideal for scooping and dipping.

I make my no-nacho nachos! I cut up green/red/yellow peppers, tomatos, add some cheese (my milk serving). Melt in the microwave, add some salsa and it's almost like the nachos I used to love at the bar.

I eat salsa with everything! grilled chicken and salmon, veggies (celery, carrots, jicama, etc). I mix it with fat free dressing and add it to salad. I also add it to beans. I suggest El Pinto Salsa, they seel it al Albertson's and Ralphs. It's delicious! and all natural.

I have been adding salsa to everything lately! I can't get enough! I tried it for the first time with my breakfast stuffed sandwich and it was great! I can't wait to have it again! I also add it to salads and dip my veggies in it! Yummy!

At your suggestion, I tried it on the sunshine sandwich and it was wonderful. I think I'm going to try it with low or no fat cottage cheese in an attempt to get my milk in. I have been skipping the milk and not getting enough calories in some days.

I on occassion make my own version of a salsa, which is really good to add to a baked potato, or into a salad. I just take fresh tomatoes (juicy not hard ones) and dice them up. I take onions or scallions, do the same, then jalepenos, cilantro, red wine vinegar, some Splenda, and smidgen of garlic. Used to use sugar, which works well with getting the juices going with the tomatoes, but.....well, splenda now it is. Make it as hot as you like, or not at all, but is pretty good freebie.
