Ok, you've probably seen me write on every post on this site that I absolutely love JC food.
I do, I truly do... but today, for lunch I tried the canned Beef Vegetable Soup, and oh my, it took a lot for me not to toss it out.
Truly, this is the worst soup I've EVER had in my entire life.
Do any of you like it, and if so, do you add something to it to make it more palatable?
I'm not going to bother buying that soup again. It was on my planned menu and if I ever see it again, I'll have my counsellor change it for something else.
At least, tonight's dinner (a new one for me) was really tasty: BBQ Meatloaf!
Yummy! I had a bunch of steamed brocoli on the side and boy was it ever good! I'm not one to like BBQ sauce much, but this meal was delicious

I had it yesterday and thought it was HORRIBLE! I also threw mine out.
What I'm finding is that I don't like the dry stuff. Well, I like some of the cereals... and really don't like the other stuff... which is a bummer because I have a LOT of it left. (the chicken salad and tuna salad kits.... I'd give better food to my dogs...)
I wonder if I can order more frozen? I'd hate to do that... but each day I think about it more and more.

Well I think I should have thrown my soup out, but I finished my bowl and just vowed not to order that one again...
I did like the chicken salad kit (I dumped the can of chicken salad onto a bed of romaine and spinach lettuce, tomatoes and I added a bit of Kraft "light done right" 3 cheese salad dressing. The crackers were good with it too.
You can order more frozen foods, the mix can be changed to what ever you like. I had my consultant change some things on my menu this week (last week too, I'm allergic to bananas and fish-seafood).

Normally I LOVE chicken salad... it's a dish I'm known for. I figured JC uses FF mayo, which I hate because it has a weird sweet taste to it, and I think that adulterates the concept of mayo. ya know? I did try mine in a salad... maybe I should have tried to doctor it more than I did (just added some paprika and spices...)...
Take care!

Same here, do NOT like the Veggie Soup. I make my own better, haha.
Only one more week of planned and I'll be personalizing! Can't wait!

It's not my fav, but it's not bad in my opinion. I cut up 1/2 cup baby carrots (my veggie) into small pieces to put into the soup. I've tried all the soups and I don't think they are bad. Sure, they're not as "yummy as, say, cream of tomato or some other cream-based soup." But I also have to keep in mind that the days I order the Beef Vegetable Soup (110 calories) is because my breakfast and dinner are of the higher calorie choices. I just save the soup to eat at dinner (my smallest meal), put it in a mug, have a salad with it, and get out of the house and on my way quickly.
I can't eat shellfish, but for those of you who can, try putting canned clams into the Potato Garlic Soup (if you're allowed a lean meat choice). I like this soup, and it just tastes to me exactly like the base of Clam of Chowder soup. Bet it would be yummy!
