OK I just had this entree for the first time today for lunch. Although the flavor is really good and the noodles as well..I found the chicken to be grisley (yuck) in almost every piece! Has anyone else noticed this or did I just happen to get a bad entree this time?
Thanks

I haven't tried that yet. Is it a frozen or shelf dinner? If it's a shelf dinner, I won't be trying it. But it does sound good.

I noticed that too! Also, sometimes you get a piece that just tastes...weird. It helps to add 2 tsp of peanut butter and lime juice to make it taste more authentic!

Thai Lemongrass Chicken is frozen. Its one of the things I eat most often (once or twice a week). I trade the fat exchange (nuts) for olive oil so I can have stir-fried veggies on 1200 calories.
There is not a problem with the chicken in this dish in particular, but there is a quality control problem with all of the JC foods. If you really hate an item, try it again when you get over the trauma... it might not be bad when it isn't messed up. (Pasta Fagioli and Pasta Parmesan are gross all the time).

I haven't noticed that about the chicken in it before. I was also going to add the suggestion about adding the peanut butter and lime juice.....GREAT!

I love the Thai Lemongrass Chicken. It is one of my favorites, probably because I miss going out to restaurants and this is as close to what I would get as anything. Haven't noticed the grissly chicken thing with that entree, but have noticed it with others. I don't miss a lot of "real" food, but I really want to have a normal, non-veggie, cheeseburger this fourth of July weekend and not have to worry.

Wow, i must be weird because i'm on JC direct, and can only get shelf foods. And I think they are great!!! And I really like the chicken pasta parmesan and the pasta fagioli....I must really be missing out on the frozen stuff!
