I don't know about you guys, but lately anytime bars have consistently been "out of stock" at the centers. What's the deal with this? Again yesterday they were out of stock...i depend on these for a morning snack...can anyone suggest a substitue other than the 1 cup of non-fat yourgurt and piece of fruit....i CRAVE the penut butter & chocolate

I'm in north Florida; our center had both the peanut butter and the praline AnyTime bars. Ask your centre when they get their shipments. Also I wonder if you can order online from Jenny Direct???
As for vitamins, I just take regular adult formula "one a day" type (Target brand). I've been taking them for years.

You can make a smoothie Do this:
1/2 c. non-fat light yogurt (I use vanilla)
1/2 c. skim milk
1/2 c. strawberries
1 small banana
6 ice cubes
Put it all in a blender and blend til desired consistency. You can add some Splenda if you desire, or use strawberry/banana yogurt instead of vanilla.
This equals one yogurt and one cup of fruit. I asked about this on Ask the Dietician board and she said ok.

My consultant told me yesterday that JC is changing distributors for the anytime bars, and they havent been able to get enough to keep in stock.

The Pria bar is a very comparable snack nutritionally and pretty tasty as well.

The center I go to has been out of several foods on a weekly basis, including Anytime Bars. VERY FRUSTRTING. I complained on the web site, in an e-mail and actually got a real response. I told them that a friend had asked me if JC was working for me and all I could do was complain that enough food was never shipped. I'm a working mom and don't have time to make another trip to get meals. E-mail and complain if your center is out of food!

Can you change your weigh in day? If so, find out what days they get their food shipments and plan a weigh in closer to that date. That way you should have pretty good chances of getting what you want. I know my center doesn't have a huge area to store foods, so they have to make a best guess effort on what they are going to need. But I have only ordered something they were out of once or twice - but I weigh in on a delivery date.

i'm in L.A. county & our center has them, but i don't like either one of them so i take the vitamin, but i have noticed them being out of a lot of stuff lately, & the crazy thing is that my center gets their shipment on friday & my appt is on sat so from what i understand their just not getting their orders filled like their supposed to. & i recently learned that instead of the person who handles the packing & things @ that center doesn't do the food ordering it's all done through the computer which seems like it should be more accurate, but it never is. so why not let us try the other way have the center order what they need on a reg. basis.

Good idea to find out when the delivery date is! I'm going to do that.
My suggestion is also Pria bars - yummy and comparable to the JC bar, not exactly the same but close enough I think. You can buy them at Sam's by the carton or Wal-Mart, 77 cents each in Indianapolis. They have peanut butter, chocolate mint (YUM!), double chocolate, and vanilla.
