I thought the color was a little different but I thought maybe I was just crazy. Nice to know that's not the case......or we're both crazy!

Yes - there has been a change - the shape is a bit different too - shorter and wider. I must say I like them better. The old PB Bars were too creamy, I didn't care for them. I love these however.

I don't like the peanut butter one at all! Do you think I might like the other one? I can't do the pill because there is no way I could eat an extra yogurt.

The only thing that has changed is the packaging and the label. There are new guidelines on what you have to put on the labels now (they constantly update the laws/rules on what they can and can not put) and as a interpretation on what those guidelines are now it appears there are new ingridients, but really they are the same old thing.

My center swears they haven't changed the anytime bars except for the box, but the peanut butter ones i have gotten for the past 3 weeks seemed so off that i totally couldn't even eat them....

JJE - you can substitute 1 cup of nf or 1% milk for your cup of yogurt. I hear the praline bars are very good.

I got praline bars for the past 6 weeks and this week I thought I would switch to the peanut butter bars. I like both but the PB bars seem creamier than the praline.
When I first tasted the PB bars when I signed up, they were chalkier so I did not get them. I think the sample that the program director had open might have gotten a little dried out since I don't recall if she opened a new one when I was there. I should have known/looked but it was all so new to me I didn't know what to expect. It seems the the PB bar are creamier now and the carob coating is yummy. I will stick to these for a while and then switch back. It would be good for me to have half a box of one and a half of another instead of having to buy two at a time to add variety. I also have started writing the day of the week on the wrappers because, I ate two in one day with out realizing it. I had totally forgotten to check it off my list and then that night I ate another. So now I have to label it with days of the week! Imagine that?

You are all so lucky you have access to the anytime bars! We don't have them in Canada and they look so delicious in the picture! For awhile we didn't even have any of the beef dinners but they finally got a Canadian supplier to bring those back to the menu. I don't know what the deal is with the peanut bars - I never heard of Mad Peanut Disease . . . ha, ha.

I prefer the peanut butter, though they do have that 'protein bar' taste and texture. A good source though with a chocolate coating.

Every week I have opted against getting the anytime bars. If I'm doing OK (hunger-wise) throught the day should I keep it that way? Or is there a benefit to adding the anytime bars to my daily menu?
