I'm new toJC direct. I had the tuna salad and crackers last week. They were really yummy and I plan to use some of the chicken salad suggestions in the post when I have it again. The problem I had was with the peach cup. I thought I was swallowing tasteless slugs.
Can I substitute a lite fruit cup or a fresh fruit? Those peaches were just nasty! Anyone else feel the same or have a recommendation to get around them?
Thanks,

I felt the same way about the fruit cup. I use the Dole's fruit cups. I also eat sugar free jello and pour a fruit cup on top. This sweetens up the jello and is really good. Good luck!

This is why I get the chicken salad kit instead. Has apple sauce instead of peaches

In the "old days" Jenny used to have the tuna and chicken in separate cans. No kits, no fruitcups. I bought it all the time back then. I bought the current ones once because of the fruitcup. Tasteless slugs...boy, are you right! I wish they sold the cans without the kit.
LOL!!! Thank you for making me really laugh out loud when I read your comment about tasteless slugs. I needed a good laugh this morning. "Please don't hold back, tell us how you really feel."
As far as the tasteless slugs, I guess I am the only one who really likes them. I love the tuna meal. I seem to enjoy the foods with less sugar, (like to taste the food underneath). I read the comment about the sugar free jello and that is a great suggestion. Many of my daily snacks are from jello, as it keeps me from eating something that I shouldn't.
Thanks again for starting out my day with a chuckle.

Thanks all. Glad I made you laugh. I had the tuna salad again today, but this time I took your advice and substituted a lite Del Monte fruit cup instead. Much better. Next time I'll try the sugar free jello.
