i am always looking for ways to save money. since Jenny's food is expensive.
Trader joe's has reduced fat cheese curls that cost $ 1.89 a bag. 7oz.
1 cup = 1 oz , calories and fat and nutrients are the same as jenny's curls.
and you get 7 servings.
just wanted to share.

Good idea but it would never work for me right now because I would probably eat the whole bag. I need the portion control of JC foods. Maybe someday I'll have more willpower!

I am with you regarding saving money, and also finding more nutritious ways to duplicate Jenny cuisine.
The french toast is easy to do on your own. I use Ezekiel bread, egg whites and skim milk for the batter and cinnamon. Fry in a non stick cooking pan. Buy a bag of frozen raspberrys or mixed berries and keep them in your freezer. Use 1/4 cup. I wanted to use real maple syrup but 1/8 cup is 100 cal.as upposed to Jennys 35 cal for 1/8 cup.
I don't like using artificial foods, but if helps me get my weight down I guess I will go with the program.

I love to save money, too, and I'm right with you eating the whole bag haha! As soon as I get it home from the store, I portion it out into baggies, and I have a "snack jar" I keep them in.
There are some Sourdough Bites out there that are just like the Sourdough Nibblers, and on sales you can get them for $1 a bag (9-10 servings).
I also portion out LowFat Wheat Thins and LowFat Triscuit - they are VERY filling.

Thanks for the tip. I might give this a try. After all, one of these days I'm going to have to learn portion control on my own so might as well ease my way into it with the Trader Joe's cheese curls. It would sure save money.
It just so happens that Trader Joe's is right across the street from my Jenny Craig center, which makes it convenient, too.

My husband and I both at halfway and we do two days a week on our own. (Actually, I'm a pound away from goal so within a week or two I'll be in maintenance.) Last weekend we bought the TJ Lowfat cheese curls and portioned them into little zip lock bags. They are really good. And the portion is surprisingly filling as a snack.
