I have a quick question that I know has been answered in the past, but I can't find the post. Is there a store that sells cheese curls similiar to the one's that we get at JC? I have gotten my friends hooked on the healthier version and I want to be able to tell them where to find a product with great taste and a better nutritional value! Thanks in advance!

I actually found some at Walmart and other local grocery stores. They're Cheetos brand Natural Cheese curls. When reading the numbers and ingrediants, they're just a bit better than JC. There are no hydrogenated oils and the numbers are extremely close. I love them. A serving size is 32 cheese curls, I count them out and put them in individual baggies. I know others have found other brands, but this is what I found and I really enjoy them.
Take care,

I am not sure where you live but I know Trader Joe's sell a similar-healthy version of these cheese curls. I remember they were much like JC kind and lower in fat and all but great tasting. The problem with me, I can not stop at one serving size.. THat is why I am at JC. But if you want you can get a bag from Trader Joe's. Good luck.

I found some that are very similar (and are puffy instead of unpuffed) by Robert's American Gourmet. They are called Smart Puffs and one ounce is 1 starch and a smidge more than 1 fat (6.9g).
I found them at my local natural foods market.

Thanks everyone for their great information. Right now I am living in AZ, I move every three months with work, and the friends I spoke about also live out here and luckily Trader Joe's is out here also. I think that I will pass on the info and let my friends have the "taste challenge." I don't need the temptation right now. Thanks again.
