I have hesitated on this one for quite awhile--but broke down today and bought the Fish and Chips. I really enjoy it! Made me feel like I'm at Long John Silvers!!
It was really good! Anyway..hope you all have a good weekend!

Hi Seth,
I, too, love the fish and chips! Especially when you cook them in the oven, and put them under the broiler the last few minutes to make them crisp! I have them in the oven right now for lunch. (I'm having my lunch for dinner)
I was wondering if anyone had this problem though ... the last two packages of fish and chips I had (including the one in the oven) only had three small potato wedges in it. I've had previous packages with at least 5 or 6. I've been tossing a few extra frozen french fries in with this meal because I don't feel there's quite enough! (The three small ones are barely bite size)
Am I just getting a bad batch??

I think you've got a bad batch! There must have been 6 french fry wedges in the "bowl". What a treat! Great idea with the oven...I was at work and had to microwave them

Mine have always had between 6 and 9 fries (depending on size). Grab the box (it has a code on it so they can tell when and where that box was packed) and call the Jenny Care line. This sounds like it could be a quality control issue that they will want to know about.

Hi CatMom,
Your not the only one. I too only had about 3 potatoes wedges. I threw away my box already, but next time I will let JC know. Hey, I am so glad I read your post. My consultant told me that she puts hers in the oven, so when I was preparing mine, I too put it in the oven. Still not crunchy, next time I put them on a cookie sheet, still not crunchy, I stopped ordering it because it was just not crisp. Thanks for the tip!!!!! I will order some tomorrow!

The first time I got the fish, there was only one piece of fish. The last few times there were 2.

I love the fish and chips! They are probably my favorite meal. I too cook them in the oven on 425 until crispy. I usually take the bowl out of the freezer and let it defrost a bit first. I made a yummy tartar sauce for them too. Fat-free sour cream, dill pickle and dill weed. Also, if you have an extra meat exchange, after the potatoes have gotten crispy, make a small mound with them and sprinkle a small amount of cheese on them and heat it until melted. Yummy! This helps me get through it!
