How is it. This is my first dry packaged food. And if memory serves correct the frozen ones are better...

It actually is not a dry food, just packaged in such a way you don't need to refrigerate it.
There have been mixed review on this one. I don't mind it personally. This week for something different I added in my homemade chunky tomato sauce to give it some extra bulk and used some low fat cheese on it.
I also like the Turkey chili with some extra hot sauce to spice it up. With the beef and potatoes I add sauted mushrooms and onions and mix it all up together to soak the gravy into the potato

For the longest time I wouldn't eat the Chicken Pasta Parmesan or the Pasta Fagioli. A friend of mine encouraged me to try them...and I'm glad I did! I also like the Lentils and the Turkey Chili that are packaged the same way.
I would suggest you try every meal that JC offers. What tastes nasty to someone may taste yummy to you!

I couldn't hardly eat the chicken pasta parmesan. I had to load it with Parmesan cheese, which kind of defeated the low calorie purpose of this program.
