I noticed some people weren't too crazy about the new breakfast scramble, and I am here to speak in it's defense cuz I loved it. I miss being able to go out to a big breakfast, like at Bob Evans or Denny's. This reminded me of that. If you didn't initially love it, try adding some pepper or Mrs Dash or garlic powder or fat free sour cream or ketchup or salsa.......
The possibilites are endless and I am getting hungry just thinking about it.
Keep the new Breakfast Scramble! YUM

I loved it too! I just returned from buying 10 more for my freezer. I hope they bring it back - they need something like this in their regular menu, not just a special edition! I don't have a big freezer, but right now half of it is taken up with breakfast scramble and apple crisp I stocked up on a few weeks ago!

I loved it too....I love eggs and have been really missing them. They were sold out of the cheese omelettes before I got to try them, I hope they bring those back too.

I love it too.
I think that a few of the complaints that I read yesterday mentioned that there were not enought eggs. Mine was a great balance between eggs and hash browns. This is so much better than the cheese omelet.

You know, I can't stand the Sunshine sandwich or the breakfast stuffed sandwich, and I was wary about the breakfast scramble just because of the processed egg.
But it IS great. It definitely needed some ketchup and pepper, but it was GOOD. And VERY filling!
Thank you!

I'm looking forward to trying the new breakfast scramble. I remember the other breakfast bowl that seems a lot like this new one. I hope my center has it in on Tuesday, in addition to the other new things. Seattle centers seem to run out of the new stuff really quickly, or get new things in much later than the rest of the country.

I hope I won't have to invest in a bigger freezer ... I plan to stock up on these every week til they're gone. They REALLY need to keep this on the permanent menu!
Stuart - I'm down in the Tacoma area. We have the new menu items, so they should have them in Seattle!

I had it for the first time this morning. I thought it was bland, but I know I could jazz it up! (just didn't have time this morning.) Next time, I'll add mushrooms and onions ... or salsa!

Just tried my first breakfast scramble and did not like it at all! Mine was mostly potatoes; the eggs and ham were like flavorings there was so little of them.

I really do not think the scramble lived up to the expectations I had for it!! I ordered two for this week as a new item...and now wish I had not. It needs more flavor...I found it the least delightful of breakfasts : (

My center would only let me buy one of each new item. Does anyone else have that problem?

I LOVE IT! SO HAPPY TO HAVE EGGS WITHOUT PEPPERS

I totally agree. I can't stand the way that they load everything that would be wonderful down with peppers. It would take me 30 minutes to eat the cheese omelet because I would try to pick all of the peppers out of it. Not too good when I have an early class. Also I have been missing potatoes like crazy. They aren't in many dishes, and there are never enough in the dishes that do have them. I am so happy to have some potatoes in my diet :-D. For those of you complaining that it is too bland, I agree, but it is REALLY not that hard to spice it up a bit. I hope this dish goes on the regular menu.

After reading all the positive reviews of the breakfast scramble, I ordered one for this week. I just love it! I mixed in a little spicy salsa and it tastes fabulous! Keep this on the permanent menu! (the potstickers and strawberry cake too!!--Yummy!)

I totally love it and I also love the fact that there are no peppers not that I don't like peppers, they just don't like me.
I wish that it could be a permanent item, not only is it very tasty, but it is also very filling.

I thought the Breakfast Scramble was a lot better than the last omelet. It did need a little jazzing up for me (salsa), but overall a nice change. I still think the old Cheese Souffle was the best breakfast out there. Anyone remember that one? I wish they would bring that back, or at least try it as a special edition.

I have to agree with the posters who said that they were tired of everything being ruined by the peppers. I picked all of them out of the cheese omelet dish too! I also stay away from the chicken fajitas. Too many peppers and not enough chicken. I love that the new Breakfast Scramble doesn't have peppers in it. Makes for a welcome change.

White pepper sprinkled sparingly on this entree is WONDERFUL !! I love white pepper, but it may be a bit too pungent for most people

The first time I tried this the potatoes were too rubbery, but I nuked it twice as long at half power and threw in some fresh salsa...really tasty! And so substantial I was actually full before I finished. It's great for weekend brunch.

Oh I just love the breakfast scramble! What I do is I fix it like a big breakfast burrito! I warm up a tortilla, put the breakfast in there w/plenty of home made salsa & ENJOY! Yummy! I'm usually too full to eat any fruit with it in the morning, but that gives me something to snack on later! Oh I hope they keep this one!
KEEP IT!
KEEP IT!

There was a lady at my center who was buying 5 of the breakfast scrambles in ADDITION to her weekly food, just to stock up.
No wonder they run out of the good stuff! Don't you think it would be more fair if they rationed the more popular items? I just don't have room in my freezer to buy a bunch of extras, nor do I want to eat the same thing every day for a week.

Love the breakfast scramble....I miss eating larger breakfasts on the weekends.... So, I cook my scramble and make my husband his breakfast of pancakes or eggs....and I don't feel deprived!! I would love two pieces of toast smothered with butter with it though!!! hahahahh!!!
I add ketchup and a touch of salt for taste. The ketchup and the potatoes...taste sooo good together!!!

I havr to put in my two cents on this one...not a fave of mine.
I really felt like the whole thing tased of potato, and I have to admit I am not a "huge" potato fan.
hmmm....maybe if it had a heap of sausage gravy on it...haha
HEY ...there is an idea for JC...come up with a low calorie , veggie sausage gravy & biscuit.....think they can whip this one up for me?

I mentioned to my center today that the JC specialist said there were more of the Breakfast Scramble in stock in the warehouse. She's going to call on Monday. It was mentioned that there may be more than one warehouse; is that the case? So maybe one part of the country can still get them but not another? I know JC is based out of California, but do all centers get their shipments from there?
Thanks!
P.S. Please make it permanent!!

This is for all the Breakfast Scramble lovers.
I truly enjoy the Breakfast Scramble and would like to see this item returned as a staple on the Jenny Craig menu.
I have a hard time with all the warm breakfasts. In fact, I am not a breakfast eater. So it is a great treat for me to look forward to eating the Breakfast Scramble in the morning.
Unfortunately the warehouse is all out of the Breakfast Scramble and I am trying to find out how to get them to bring it back.
Got any ideas?
(p.s. This is my first time ever on a message board so I am not sure I am doing this right.)

I tried to get the breakfast scramble at my new center last night and they totally ran out. They told me that it is VERY important for clients to let corporate know what they want made as a permanent item and this board is a great way to communicate it.
Sooooo....All you corporate JC people: MAKE THE BREAKFAST SCRAMBLE PERMANENT!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!
