I was told there would be no more chili - that J.C. was going to do it differently; make a larger serving size and change it somewhat. I haven't been able to get it for months. It was my absolute favorite! What's the deal?

In another post a while back, one of the JC reps said that they had had to temporarily discontinue the chili (which was produced in Canada) due to USDA regulations about beef imports from Canada, due to the incidents of mad cow disease there. At the time they were looking for another manufacturer. So, it sounds like they are going to take the opportunity to give it a makeover as well.
Remember, there's still the turkey chili!

Thanks for the response! I hadn't heard that. I will try the Turkey Chili again - I only had it once, and decided I liked the Chile Con Carne much better.

Oh thanks! Just in time for the cooler weather, too! Today is my center day so I will order it. Just last week my new consultant told me they wouldn't be getting it back!

I am curious to know if anyone had tried the chili on the guiltless gourmet chips. I bought a package at Kroger. I dont remember the exact cals right now, but I can find out if anyone is interested.
I also bought some of their fat free been dip. 30 cal per serving. I am thinking of mixing the bean dip and chili on the chips and topping it off with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and fat free chedder. Taco salad lunch, mmmmm.

I haven't tried the Guiltless Gourmet Chips, but I have had Baked Tortilla chips with mine. I figured out the quantity of chips that matched a starch exchange (it was 12 I think for the brand I had), and ate them with my chili.
Next time I will have to make a chili salad out of it, that sounds really good. Although the fat-free cheese isn't a free food, I'm sure I can work it in.
