I just love the tuna kits.......That so far is my very favorite lunch...I could eat those every day........I also find the peanut butter bar and the toffee bites delicious.......and the cereals are very good.....as well as the beef vegetable soup......but I really dislike the spinach tortelini...........I will be eating though....just not enjoying it...

Since I've never tried the tortelini I've been thinking I should, just to add variety and save a couple dollars. There is a recipe in the Creative Recipes cookbook to make soup with it. It could be interesting. There are some helpful ideas in that cookbook, in case you haven't seen it - it's worth $5.

Yeah, make soup with it! I add 1/2 to 1 cup broth, chopped spinach, sliced mushrooms, and lots of garlic to it. Tastes great, and it makes such a HUGE bowl of soup you may have trouble finishing it!
Best Wishes,

Good idea! I'll Try that......Thanks!
I've since tried the honey oat bar...and I found it a bit dry....so I had it this morning with a cup of coffee and it was much better......I did find the cheese curls had a funny taste.....kind of rancid....and I was really looking forward to those......they were a disappointment...I am refusing to put out the extra money for the frozen food....so I'm determined to order the pantry food only........I do find that I enjoy the breakfast, lunches and snacks for the most part.......but I am really having to choke down the dinners....thankfully....they are small...It can be difficult sometimes to get over the way they look..and....some do taste better than they look. I'm concerned about the sodium content.....and the cost.....and I'm considering alternating having a JC day...and weight watchers day ( I have the WW info from a couple of years ago)....anyone else doing that?

If anyone wants a suggetion for the tuna kit I have one. I take two slices of bread and make a tuna melt with it. I add my cheese from my afternoon snack to it and it is yummy. I also use parkay spray on it to grill it and it just as good as the real thing. I would love to know what other people do to change up their tuna.
