Hi. If you are from NSW and want to chat to others, drop in a line here. I joined JC today, day 1, and so far the day is going great. I weighed in at 92 kgs (202lbs) and my goal weight is 68 kgs (150lbs). Seems like a long way to go, but step by step I will get there.
Good luck to all other starters and I will check in regularly to see if there are any posters..
Have a great day

I don't think too many Australian people know about this site, so I will be mentioning it to my JC Consultant on Monday. It is day 3 today and I am going fine. I am getting cravings but I am taking note of where they are hitting and so far I have come up with bored, habit, bored...LOL.
Must go but will be back.

Hi there,
I am not from NSW, but am a Canadian currently living in New Zealand. I lived in Sydney a few years back, and I love your country. Anyway, best of luck on the program.

Thanks Paula. I have gone for my first weigh in and I have lost 1kgs or 2.2 lbs. I am quite happy with that and hope to continue the same rate (or more) each week.
This week went quite well with only one let down when my lovely husband ordered pizza for dinner and I had a couple of slices.
I will come back next week and let you know how I am going.
Have a great week

Hi Belinda. Congratulations on your weight loss so far. It is so difficult but we have each other and JC to help us so we should all reach our goals. My next weight in is on Thursday as I am having a 3 day break whilst I go interstate on the weekend. My JC consultant understands that this is not the ideal thing to do but she convinced me to start last week instead of waiting until I returned from my break, so at least I will be about 2kgs lighter anyway.
I am really enjoying the foods and am gaining a greater understanding of the portion sizes, which I think is the whole idea !, so am hoping once I reach my goal that I will be able to maintain it - forever !!
Thank you for chatting and I hope to catch up with you next week to see how you did.
Have a great week

Hi Bell
I too have had some cravings this week, attributable to the same reason. I am a bit disappointed in the follow up I have received from my consultants as I have been sick all week and missed my appointment - with no phone call to see why. I think I will change my centres as I am still sure that JC is the way to go.
Good luck with the weight loss. Even a stable week is better than a week with a gain. Have a great week and see you around.

Hi there...
Sorry I haven't written for awhile. I see that you are both struggling as I am. I had a hectic 3 weeks and gained almost 3 kg. The good news is is that I have lost 1/2 of that. I don't know, its always the same with me. I start to feel good and look better and the motivation goes down. I am slowly getting back on track, but going away this weekend, so who knows what will happen?
Best of luck to you in the upcoming week.
Cheers!

Hi guys,
Great to see you are all enjoying the programme, I started in February this year and have so far lost over 15 kg, I can't tell you how great I feel and it seems to have gone so quickly!! I have had some bad days though but the best thing to do is forget about it and look ahead rather than dwell on it. I'm getting so many positive comments from people, I even tried on my year 12 ball dress the other day and it fits!!!! I haven't even attempted to put it on in over 5 years! and oh what a shame I have to go buy new clothes now as all my old frumpy fat clothes are all too big. It's GREAT I haven't been this happy in years. I still have 13.9 kgs to go but I feel so good I know I'm going to get there and by Christmas time too I hope! It hasn't been an overly quick weight loss but it's fast enough for me.
Goodluck everyone and you're all doing GREAT!!
SAM xoxo

Hi peoples. I haven't logged in for too long - mainly because I have nOT stuck with this plan at all. Icould only reach a JC support person by phone as i live way out in the boonies. I did so well by losing around 10 kgs. I initially weighed in at 95kg and went down to 85kg - loads of exercise and was so energised. I became ill and so everything went out the back door esp the exercise. Food is not the problem with me I guess it is really the exercise and the excuses I end up making for not getting out and doing it! Its winter, I have a cold, its a town day, well - motivation is what I need - so I flagged JC and opted to go it alone (with on friend to keep both of us on track) - have printed out a meal plan for the week - am writing everything down that goes in - exercise plan is next on the agenda. Australia have a wonderful slimming mag and I'm hooked on it - what an inspiration! Am attempting to finish off eating those frozen JC dinners - before they go off!
Oh, I'm from New Zealand by the way - am at 92.5 kgs (202 +). A good website to visit folks is the mvm.com - you can look at yourself and put clothes on. Would be a goodie for those who want to see themselves as they wish to be! Its indeed another one of my inspirations. My dh and I go to Rarotonga for a holiday and I'm gonna look soooo frumpy - never to late to start.
Phew! Sorry for the longwinded message - like I said - its been a long time since I visited this site. Lovely to see so many members. NZ and Ozzies are shy I guess!
Both countries have increasing amounts of obesity though - esp with the children. Time to get healthy and mindful of the next generations - set examples etc. Wish me luck on this journey - and good luck to you all out there

Shernz
Thank you so much for the mvm.com site information. I have entered my details in, and as I am amazed at how close the figure is to mine (huge lol !) The only thing is that the computer smooths away all the real life rolls and bumps. BUT, I am going to have a play with it. Just wanted to say thanks.
I too am putting more effort into the exercise and have heard lately that if you walk 3km a day - you will keep up your fitness and if you walk 5km a day - you WILL lose weight.
I have a back injury so I am starting off slowly - I don't think I can do 5km the first day, but I will get there.
Have a great day and I hope to hear from you again.
Hello everyone else, hope your journey is progressing.
Margaret

Hi Margaret and everyone else who happens by this wee room.
Its our first sunny day here in Gissieland (Gisborne, East Coast, NZ) and because it was so great I have ended up being quite active - pruned roses, raked up heaps of Camelia petals that had dropped to the ground, went down to the local Marae and cleaned out the pantry, did 10 km on the exercycle and have stuck with my new eating plan. This is so easy and I'm committed.
Margaret - try putting in your weight at say 150 lbs - print it off and stick it on the fridge - or send it to a buddy - hey, I'll send you mine if you send me yours! The real you okay - on the MVM site. You are right - the bumps I have don't show either - I think we are about the same. I'm 5ft 7inches and 92kgs - I would like to drop 20kgs - I have 3 wardrobes - well, 4 really - all varying sizes! I have just gotta clean em out sometime - and I think I will begin to get rid of them as soon as they are too big for me! (is that being positive or what)?
Today I have eaten -
Brekkie - Bowl of Sultana Bran (a large cup full) with trim milk and a black coffee
Cup of tea (morning tea) (no food although some days I will have some crackers and tomato or a weight watchers fruit slice
Lunch - Salmon and salad sandwich on wholewheat bread and a cup of Laksa 97% fat free soup
Pineapple juice for afternoon tea - which is now.
Dinner will be a stir fry vege and rice - no meat or fish in that one - perhaps I'll make it a bit more interesting and do a egg omelet and slice that into it - mmmmm love rice and pasta dishes
Just thought I would share a "typical" day with you all.
I'll keep posting.
Bye for now
Sher
