Please do not discontinue the silver dollar pancakes!!! (--or please bring them back if they're already discontinued) I love them, and do not like the blueberry pancake replacement.

I agree, I don't understand why they got rid of the Silver Dollar Pancakes, the blueberry ones don't taste as good. Plus, the french toast already comes with blueberries, why bring another similar breakfast with blueberries??? Why fix what isn't broken?!

I never understood this replacement because if someone wanted blueberry pancakes they could very easily have just added blueberries to them. I stopped ordering the pancakes when they became blueberry.
I'm sure several people stopped ordering them then...not a wise choice JC.

If someone wants blueberries they can easily add them !!!

I think they made a terrible mistake. Your right if you like blueberries WHICH I DON'T..............you can alway add them. I think it was a terrible descion........some people are allergic to some fruits......I can't even order the foods with pineapple in them...........I am allergic to that too! They use to be delicious. I am going to miss them terribly......

Just adding a voice of support regarding the silver dollar pancakes...very poor choice to replace them with blueberry pancakes!

While I don't hate the new blueberry pancakes I agree that if someone wants blueberries they can add them, plus the French toast already has blueberries on it and let's not forget the blueberry muffins too! I think they're obsessed with blueberries! I also don't think they should be going for more specific tastes but more general ones to satisfy more people!

On top of that now you have to remove the pancakes to cook the sausage for a while by itself and then replace them. I can't tell you how inconvenient this is when you're using the office microwave. Aaaauuughhh!!!!! I hate to say it but because of this I will likely order this less and that's too bad because I don't want to lose what once was a favorite breakfast item. sad.gif

I agree -- the silver dollar pancakes are much better. I just heard this week they were discontinuing them and I'm not thrilled. The blueberry pancakes are pretty much tasteless.

I like both. Im sad to see the old ones go. That being said, I think JC is trying to adapt to people who want more whole grains - lower sugar, higher protien items.

I HATE the blueberry pancakes!! I love the old silver dollar ones, but won't order the new ones because they are so awful. Like someone else mentioned, I hate the new cooking directions too.

As a vegetarian, this is yet another meatless breakfast I have to miss out on. sad.gif

I get the knudens mini pancakes. its basically the same thing as far as calories and the exchanges. 12 are 220 calories, I usually have 6-8 for 110-150 calories. i'm still trying to find a veggie or meat patty. its cheaper too, you can get them at smart and final

So many people have been crying out for more whole grains, yet when they introduce a product with them, we cry that it's not as good as the old white-flour version. As for the blueberries, I get that point although I didn't really notice the berries or the flavor. I cooked it the same way as I always have and it turned out fine, so not sure why the change there except it might make it have a slightly better texture.

The berries on the french toast are completely optional. Personally, I find them to be a little bitter, but then I don't do anything to make them better either. It's a very small amount, so you could either substitute half of another fruit or skip it alltogether (I forget which the dietician recommended). I like that they are in a separate container so they don't get the toast part soggy or flavored.

For years, my husband has been complaining that every time we find a product that we really like, it gets discontinued. However, this is in regards to GROCERY foods, not specifically JC (although he's sad to see the potato soup go!). I can't even remember how many items we have adored that suddenly disappeared. There are many factors that go into the business decisions of things, not just customer preference.

I to hate the new blueberry pancakes. Although I stocked up when I heard they were going away and still have a few left in the freezer (same with Italian wedding soup and chili con carne). Blueberries are a very polarizing fruit. Either you like them or you don't. I understand they are good for me...but I HATE the taste of them! They should have made the berries optional like with the french toast.
