I haven't seen this yet in Ohio, but am intrigued. I think this is going to go one way or the other - it's going to be phenomenal or it will be just awful. Can't wait to see which way it goes! I hope it tastes great and is a big hit!
I'm assuming no Hawaiian chicken salad this summer? Anyone heard? |

I think this would have been better without the pickles. It seemed to me they took the regular chicken salad and added pepper to it.
The pickles gave it a sort of weird taste to me. Think I will pass buying it again. -------------------- The elevator to success is out of order. You'll have to use the stairs ... one step at a time - Joe Girard

I tried it this week and it was pretty good. I'd order it again over the regular chicken salad kit. Loved the pineapple pieces, instead of applesauce.
I did not think it had all that much spice to it - any ideas on what to add to it to kick it up a notch? (I'm not a very good cook, so I have no idea what spices would be good to add). |

Think I will pass buying it again. I didn't taste any pickles! I dont recall seeing pickles listed in the ingredients, either. Are you certain your JCC gave you the right meal? That being said, I thought it was pretty good. I couldn't tell if the crackers were the same as in the other kits because my toddler snagged them and I ended up using whole wheat Ritz instead. I still love the turkey & cranberry kit best of all. Take care, Angela -------------------- |

I am pretty sure it was the Fajita salad because it had pineapple instead of the applesauce. Okay now I am curious as to what the "sour pickle" taste was in my chicken salad. I might have to buy one again and analyze it! -------------------- The elevator to success is out of order. You'll have to use the stairs ... one step at a time - Joe Girard

Okay now I am curious as to what the "sour pickle" taste was in my chicken salad. I might have to buy one again and analyze it! It's a common mistake --- the things in ALL of the salad kits are actually pieces of celery --- not pickels. -------------------- Empower Yourself, Don't Enable Yourself! YOUTUBE WEIGHT LOSS BLOG!! I didn't care for the flavor of it. I haven't had the other salad kits so I can't compare it. deb

I didn't care for the flavor of it. I haven't had the other salad kits so I can't compare it. deb I'm only on day 4, and so far, so good. I had the Fajita Chicken Salad today for lunch, and must say, from some of the comments, I was afraid of it, but I really liked it. This was my first meal of this type, and I guess I was lazy today, so I just cut up a cucumber, and had the salad on the crackers. Added a little fresh pepper, and ate the whole thing. Think this will make a great on the run lunch. Glad I didn't listen to all the negative comments about these salads. Debbie |

I just had it for the first time today and OMG was it good. I like the zing of flavor it has over the other salad kits. Will definitely be scooping these up since they may be temporary.

I'm hoping the new chicken salad has more large pieces of chicken.....comments? It is good. It is a million times better than the greasy regular chicken salad. I hate the other salad. There are only three things I won't eat, so it is not like I am picky. I am going to take a few when I travel and I think I can change it up a little. -------------------- |

WOW- well, as usual, opinions are all over the place!
I'll have a run at it this week- perhaps add more celery and stuff it into a tomato. The salad kits always need serious volumizing to resemble a meal for me. But yeah, IMHO, the tuna one - my cat snubbed it! -------------------- 11/07 SW 166.2
